  1. True, then don't use the author name in the Dexter one!
  2. Dex and the Dexterettes luv. Keep up I have no doubt, he is fast becomming one of my favourite authors So who's gonna start the group?
  3. I like it too. I like Dex and the Dexterettes for the Dexter one too but maybe thats a bit too much? Exactly Frankie! Forget the book and enjoy the film!
  4. I think a social group is a good idea, we do tend to go off topic a bit and it would mean we could chat about the movies and who's playing who etc. What would we call it though? Jeffrey and the Deaverettes? That might put male members off though Any suggestions? So did you enjoy the film in the end Frankie or were you disappointed? I was the same as Ceinwenn, I saw the film before reading the book so again I had no expectations but I really liked it. I recieved The Coffin Dancer in the post today from Ceinwenn. thank you! I'm so looking forward to this one
  5. It arrived at last then! Dracula was a spur of the moment thing, thought you might like a wee surprise! Have you read it? You might find you want to after you read The Historian, I'm reading it at the minute and I have to say I appreciate the writing now much more than I did when I read it the first time, its brilliant! Not just another vamp horror, its much more than that .... I'm waffling now  Anyhoo, you're very welcome and you do not need to repay anything :hug:

  6. Ah so this is the first. Its added to my wishlist. Thanks Mac!
  7. Brilliant!!
  8. good one! Must remember that.
  9. I shall remember that! We should get the thread renamed; Jeffrey and the Deaverettes! Nah maybe not, I couldn't imagine a new member having any clue what it was about then!
  10. Couldn't find it. Couldn't remember how to write it!
  11. Do stay! Besides, resistance is futile! ...
  12. Excellent! I shall hold the postie to ransom til I get it! Don't worry about the banana cake, I'll take a raincheck Besides I'm up to my eyes in homebaked cookies and cakes!
  13. Good news Chimera and Kylie, well done. ii will be pleased too, means more cookies for her!
  14. Great review Kelly, I always read them and I rather like the sound of this one. It looks like my kinda thing. Is this one not the first in the series then? I've added it to my wishlist but I think I'll see which is the first though and start there.
  15. Oh you definately should. Its a bit different from the film in places but still good entertainment. Brilliant! I'll read it after the Count then. thank you!

  18. Tell me about it! I don't get a lot of nights of unbroken sleep Maybe I should start to read more chicklit?
  19. I dream about what I'm reading often. Usually my mind incorporates my family too and because, like Lexiepiper I read mostly horror/serial killer books, my dreams can become rather close to home and vividly frightening!
  20. I thougth the violinist was fantastic too, you could see Simon's brain ticking over when he watched her, pound signs flashing in front of his eyes no doubt! Jamie from Wales was brilliant but I kept waiting for him to speak afterwards to the judges! The stagefright must have taken his tongue, understandable, I couldn't get up and sing in front of that lot!
  21. Roast chicken dinner today with homemade apple crumble and custard after! yum!
  22. Nope. Sorry, not me. I have no clue who you're talking about!
  23. Hiya :006: Welcome to the forum. Hope you like it here, they're a really friendly lot. It might be an idea to go to the introductions section and introduce yourself, you'll get loads of welcomes. Enjoy! :smile2:
