My first job was part time on a Saturday or holidays working in a health food shop when I was 15. There was only me and the owner who worked there, and she was brilliant. It taught me a lot and by the time I was 17 she left me in charge when she wanted time off or was going away on holiday. I loved it!

Butterbeer always sounds delish! Every time a character in a book I'm reading has a coffee, especially something like a latte or mocca, I have to have coffee of some description too. I even try different types as they always sound so good. My latest is the addition of a sugar free caramel shot after reading about it in a book, I didn't even know you could get sugar free shots!

Sun, rain, hail, wind and freezing cold out there. A mix of all of them so far!

Tonight we'll be having Sweet & Sour turkey with Cous Cous instead of rice ..it's yum!

I spend a lot of time browsing Amazon for books and kindle books. To the point where I've downloaded books to my kindle and forgotten what they're about before I went to read them, then had to look up Amazon again to read the blurb! I guess you could definitely say I have a problem!

Woke up this morning to a light covering of snow and it has been trying to snow on and off all day. Absolutely freezing out there too, -1 degree C all day!

I've literally just finished Shadow of Night by Deborah Harness and feel like I've been holding my breath for the second half of the book, it was wonderful! It's still foremost in my head and no doubt will be there for a while ....no idea what to read next, how do I top that? Lol

Wow, what a fantastic read! This was well worth the wait. I have to admit it was a bit slow to start but in retrospect, a lot of characters were introduced so the detail was warranted. Beautifully written, it's a wonderful tale of magic and history interwoven into a story filled with drama and mystery. I'm really looking forward to the third installment and hope it doesnt take too long!

My copy arrived a couple of days ago, I've only read about 40 pages so not quite into it just yet, but I'm looking forward to finding out what happens

Watched Fright Night with Colin Farrell. I'd heard reports that it wasn't great but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Way better than the original and David Tennent was fab in it!

Have had a bit of a mojo kick start, read the first 5 books in the Darklands series by Autumn Dawn and am now on number 6, all while waiting patiently for my winning copy of Shadow of Night to arrive

I managed to finish Hard Eight by Janet Evanovich, my mojo has made an appearance! Lol I am now eagerly awaiting my new signed copy of A Shadow of Night by Deborah Harkness which I won on here, go me!! Thank you, thank you, thank you
