  9. As u can see PS i love u is not my usual type of book i read but all my friends kept sayin 'go on go on, read it, its brill!' I'm glad i did! The film isnt supposed to be as good but then they never are, i havnt seen it. Have u read 'the surgeon'? if not u should really read it first as the apprentice kind of picks up where the surgeon left off, they all sort of carry on from each other so its best to read them in order. If u hav already read surgeon and liked it then u will like apprentice too, I bought a couple of the set at a time and lost days - had my head stuck in a book and got nothin done!!

  12. :sign0144:Hi everyone I've just discovered this new forum and its just great to be able to go somewhere and talk about all the books i'm reading or have read and to get other's who have the same taste as me opinion on books I might like:yahoo:. I've just turned 40 (literally still recovering from the party!) and am happily married with two kids, a daughter who's 12 and has discovered the joy of reading:clapping: and a son who's 15 and is more interested in his pc and bands:shrug:. We also have a pet rottweiller who is actually abig softie and totally useless as a guard dog and a cat. My favourite authors (at the moment) are Richard Montanari, Tess Gerritsen and Karin Slaughter. I also love horror novels especially vampire ones. I really like books that sort of run in a series with the same character for a few books (but then i get nothing done cause i got my head stuck in a new book every 2 days! So thats me basically. Hope to chat soon
  13. No probs Michelle, thanks. I'll check out the links
  14. Thanks madcow. I think i'll give them a try
  15. I read Bones to Ashes by Kathy Reichs recently and have to say i think she is well back on form. Its a great read (i read it in 2 days) and yet again i became totally absorbed in the book and got nothing done! Thoroughly recommend it but dont start it if you got things to do!
  16. Hi all. I have read several books by Tess Gerritsen, all of them being the Surgeon, Apprentice series. I've finished the Mephisto Club recently and really enjoyed it as well as the others. I know she has also written other titles which are not about Jane Rizzoli and co but they dont appeal to me for some reason. Has anyone here read any of her stuff and what do you think of them?
  17. Hi there. I'm new here and was just wondering - I'm currently reading Karin Slaughter's Indelible and have got about half way through but find myself loosing interest! I've already read Blindsighted, Kisscut and A Faint Cold Fear which i thoroughly enjoyed but with this one i just cant seem to get into it as good. I've got to the point where Jeffrey and Sara have discovered his mate has shot some guy and it seems Jeffrey is hiding something. Does it get better or should i just skip to her next one?
