  1. Hey you :). How have you been?

  2. I love to add books to my own as well. Speaking of which, I just added 8 more books. That pile is never going to get smaller at the rate I'm going
  3. Awww I'm sorry. Yea the Resident Evil movies get a little less good as they progress, lol. But it sounds like you're having a good time!...aside from the cold :(

I'm very excited since I'm going out today for some shopping, as well as the bookstore and library (I can't wait) :D

  4. That's the best part, lol

So how are you on this day?

  5. Welcome to the forum, and may you enjoy your stay.
  6. I definitely am. I haven't read many of Agatha's books yet, but all the ones I have are those that feature Poirot, and my favorite (thus far), would have to be Murder on the Orient Express. That might change once I read more of the books though.
  7. "This is my favorite book in all the world, though I have never read it." The Princess Bride, by William Goldman
  8. Three more books added to the end of my TBR pile, though they'll most likely be read sooner than I think.
  9. Welcome to the forum, Cadenza
  10. I'm glad to hear that it has potential. I might pick me up a copy if available at the library this Saturday. What's another book to add to my already humongous TBR pile right?
  11. Great choice, Cadenza! What's your favorite Poirot book?
  12. Wow, I had never seen these! Or perhaps I haven't been looking hard enough. But they certainly would be valuable to have (at least one) around just in case. I'll see if they sell them at my bookstore--they should --when I visit tomorrow.
  13. I've heard! I'm shocked that I'm such a little girl when it comes to playing them, lol. Then again I don't have the equipment needed to play the games.

  14. Yay! I'm excited for you to read the books as well
  15. The games are on my list of games to play. I know for a fact I'd prefer to not play them alone though, lol

  16. This wasn't a bad book, but it was not one of my favorites either. I thought it a tad too long and slightly boring in places. However, it's worth being read at least once. I'm also rather glad that I'd read Bram Stoker's Dracula before The Historian, as it not only serves for great reference, but I think also takes precedence.
  17. Most likely. I still prefer Silent Hill above all others :D

  18. Precisely. It's why I think that the psychological factor in any movie that frightens is so important. And Cloverfield had that...'til that spider/giant/odd-thing showed up :P

  19. I've wanted to read this book since I was 15, and I still have not gotten around to it . I'd love to hear your thoughts on it once you finish it. And happy readings to you
  20. I'm going to try and start New Moon either today or tomorrow, but I don't make any promises. I think I'm just feeling lazy to start reading any bok at the moment (beyond shocking, I know, lol), but I'm still going to pick up the last Harry Potter series book on Saturday. If anything they'll probably give me a month or so before I have to return it, so I'll have time to read it. I haven't started New Moon yet...aside from the first line of the book . I'll attempt to today however, or tomorrow, as it's a series that I want to get through. The J. R. Ward series is fantastic, and I'm so glad that you've placed it on your wish list. From the vamp books that I have read thus far, the Black Dagger Brotherhood remains my favorite and I'd recommend it to anyone. I can't wait for you to get your hands on the books as well
  21. I wouldn't be able to pick just one of the above. For me it's Horror/Supernatural/Fantasy/Sci-Fi and Historical Fiction, and when they're both combined, that makes it even better .
  22. Definitely hazelnut for me, though I'm not too picky when it comes to hot chocolate...well, when it's chocolate in any way or form
  23. Currently I'm wanting to see He's Not That Into You, Coraline, New In Town, and Inkheart. We'll see when I can manage to squeeze all of those into my schedule either in one day, or throughout four weeks.

    Hia

    Welcome to the forum, Luckybird
  25. I feel 10x better today, which makes me very, very happy.

And Cloverfield... I saw it, but I thought it was horrible *g*. I think that it would have been a fairly okay movie had they not shown the creature in the end. That ruined everything.
