  5. Arghhh ... I chose the wrong answer in one cause I was rushing, stupid cow me 9/10
  6. Oh yes Its called Dime Store Magic and its by Kelley Armstrong. Its the third in a series, the first two were called Bitten and Stolen. Nice quick, fast paced reads and very entertaining, perfect if you've lost your mojo!
  7. I absolutely adored Dragonheart and Stardust too. Have you seen Inkheart the movie? I saw it today, it wasn't a bad wee movie.
  8. I'm a witch, in my early twenties with an adoptive 13 year old daughter who who has exceptional powers. I've been exposed and there is a media circus permanently camped outside on my front lawn. I've just agreed to work with a sorcerer who I've been told is one of the good guys.

  14. Oh don't worry, I have a problem I know . Oh well .. I'll just have to add more to my wishlist ...
  15. I need to unsubscribe from this thread, it's costing me a clean fortune! I'll probably finish Stolen tonight and am really loving it, thank goodness I have Dime Store Magic to keep me going!
  16. No! No! No! Don't you dare!!! Its a wonderful ending!!! You will whizz through them both anyway, be patient little one.
  17. Dexter the books are way better than the series, mind you I only watched the first season, but the books really show his human side too and explain a lot more. If you like I'll lend you my set, I know you look after books so its no problem :D .. and as for Deaver? Well his stuff is just great, I have a spare copy of The Bone Collector you can have if you like, just pm me your address :D Kookie is a slow reader and has been away at her friends for the past two days so has really only just started Twilight but she really liked the film so I'm sure she'll like the book too.

Btw I read your thread asking for blogging help. Unfortunately I don't have a blog or I would do what you asked but I really admire you for what you're doing, it sounds awful what you went through.

  18. Oh that common sounds great, I love horses. I used to ride as a teenager but after I was bitten, nipped, stood on and finally thrown ending up in hospital with a fractured skull, I got the hint and gave up  I wasn't really that bad actually, even went jumping on them but I think I lost my riding mojo after that. I used to take Kookie riding too when she was younger but I think she may have gotten bored of it. I do still think they are beautiful animals and absolutely bear no hard feelings!

I know what you mean about Sookie, I really really want to read the next ones but unfortunately I'll just have to be patient. I'd buy the lot but that's a huge series and I've just bought 16 new books recently!

  19. How did you find Richard Montanari's Play Dead? I didn't think it was as good as the previous three to be honest, although I still enjoyed it. I'd love to hear what you think
  20. Oooh a picnic sounds lovely! I haven't had a picnic in years. The house is coming along nicely thanks, slowly but nicely. Waiting for our new bed to arrive on Tues, so excited, haven't had a new bed in 15 yrs! Mattresses yes but never a whole new bed! (How sad am I?) Still getting the floors tiled so it may be a while yet before its all finished. I might post an album when its all done, not too sure if many will be interested though.

I do plan on reading the rest of the series as long as I'm enjoying them, I have Dime Store Magic on my shelf so I'll definately be reading it. Have you read any of the Hannibal books yet or the Flesh and Blood? Hannibal Rising is one to pick up your mojo! Oh and how about Dexter? He would definately bring it back, I think you'd like it. :D Hope the weather is lovely for your picnic!

  23. I spun and bolted. I didn't get far. This side of the road was forest, and thick woods weren't kind to humans, particularly naked running humans. Stolen ~by~ Kelley Armstrong
  24. "Please tell me you don't believe in that stuff," said a voice beside my shoulder. Stolen ~by~ Kelley Armstrong
