    Hello! Sorry didn't get back to you earlier, I had to go to the physio :roll: That idea about the game club sounds great, especially if you turn it into a giant picnic game, I'd go!

     

    Glad you ended up enjoying Chelsea Cain in the end, I'll leave it on my wishlist ;) Have you read any Stuart McBride? They are supposed to be really good, I haven't tried any but I believe you start with 'Cold Granite' :D I'll probably finish Dexter tonight :irked: I don't want to, but I can't wait to see what happens!

    I didn't know. But I had a very bad feeling that it wouldn't be much fun for either of us; because as I had realized, we were both still living in Harry's shadow, and I was pretty sure I knew what Harry would say. Dexter By Design ~by~ Jeff Lindsay (Spoilers for those who haven't read it yet. )

    Perfectly true Ceinwenn. I am not normally the fastest reader out and I would never dream of competing! You two would probably win hands down. I'm just enjoying my mojo at the minute while it's still here Frankie!

    Glad you enjoyed the party and you even stayed pretty good foodwise! Well done you :hug: Maybe you should start up a game club, keep your mind off food! Although I dare say you'd have to provide snacks so maybe not :roll:

     

    I just received the first book unfortunately :( otherwise I'd probably have the next couple read by now! They are great little reads, really entertaining. So I've started the last Dexter book and I'm 10 chapters into it already, but there's no more after that! :hissyfit: Maybe have to slow down a bit :( I hope Chelsea Cain picks up a bit for you, you don't want to lose that mojo again!

    Poppy! Poor you Gyre! I hope you didn't hurt yourself! I'm always falling, its got to the stage where my OH has no sympathy anymore, he says that at my age I should know how to walk by now!

    I've just started chapter five and I can already tell its gonna be good. I hope I loved that part of the story in Dexter in the Dark

    I honestly thought she was gonna collapse at the end of the final and like Kell said, could she at least crack a smile! I'm so glad she didn't win. As for the Priory, call me cynical but she must have a bloody good publicist

    I'm still reading this and have skipped book 3 but I'm honestly not sure if I'll finish it. It's just not what I expected and it's not grabbing me at all making it a chore to read. I'll carry on along side other books and see if it picks up for me.

    Hey Frankie! :D

     

    The weekend went great thanks! The boys were all pretty well behaved thank goodness although prob stayed up half the night watching DVD's in the living room where they were sleeping but they didnt burn the house down or anything :lol: Then yesterday they went down to the river with a picnic and just messed about in the river as the weather was so hot. My son seemed to enjoy it. I even got to chill out most of the afternoon and read the first sookie book almost in one sitting!

     

    How did yours go? Did the housewarming party go well? I hope you had a great time and had loads of fun! :smile2:

    OK OK I get the message, in fact I get it so much ... so... not meaning to gloat ... well OK just a bit I've ordered not one, not two but ten .... yes you read right ..... TEN Jeffrey Deaver books! One of which is The Empty Chair! I ordered the ten set off The Book People Hah! So there! Gloating over ... Now to solve the cookie problem

    Thanks for dropping by, its always nice to hear from you :D I'm doing grand thanks, and don't worry about The Graveyard Book (I'd rather you eat!), I've got loads of reading to do at the min anyway :lol: Just wait until you get a job, I'm not going anywhere :lol:

     

    Just popped by to say hi, I'm only on for 15 mins, got a house full of 16 yr old boys (sons birthday) so I'm off to feed them! :lol:
