Yes, I heard about what happended at the Cup Final, but I haven't heard anything more of the chap's condition - how is he? One good thing to come out of the Muamba situation is how most online football forum members have forgotten their differences and have become more of a community - it makes a nice change.

As for Austell, we had an excellent 3-0 win on Saturday against Dartmouth. We really needed that win because we're away at Falmouth Town tomorrow night, and with the best will in the world, we're probably in for a real battering!

It was one of the Killie players father who had a cardiac arrest just as they were going up for the cup...unfortunately he died later on.Such a low and high day for them all.

Oh by the way, Andy had his application to Celtic acknowledged and said he has gotten through the first round, if he doesn't here anything by middle of may that will be the end of it. So watch this space .... again.

Great win for your boys Sedge well done....hope the battering isn't too painful!

Tragic for the Killie player on a day which should have been the highlight of his career.

Fingers crossed for Andy - it almost sounds like an episode of The Apprentice!

Austell's expected drubbing failed to materialise. We took an early lead which lasted for 4 minutes, then went behind to a second half penalty. From then on it was all one-way traffic as we laid siege to the Falmouth goal. The referee obliged by giving us 4 minutes of stoppage time, allowing us to score an equaliser in the last minute! Happy Days!

Home to Bovey Tracy tomorrow. We hold the record for the biggest score draw of the season so far - 4-4 at their place. Should be a good few goals tomorrow - hopefully all for us!

Andy and 'Dale have away match but local. They are close in the league only 3 points separate a few mid table teams at the mo and they have 3 games in hand over some. U'14's have a home game against Kintore (third placers) and hoping for a win to keep on track for second place finish. Weather looks good for weekend so fingers crossed.

Another great win for The Austell yesterday by a comfortable 4-0 margin. We're on championship form now - shame we're still only 11th! How did it go for your teams Inver?

Wins all round here too Sedge.....3-1 for Glendale and then a great 4-1 home victory for U'14's yesterday in the glorious sunshine. Played some cracking footie, passing it about, shouting etc. Deserved their win.

See the number 4 followed you again then...lol

We had a great 2-1 win at Cully last night, but at the expense of a torn hamstring and two bandaged heads! Not much time for our lads to recover as we're away at Penzance on Friday!

We've just leapt from 11th to 8th - now we just have to bridge a 13 point gap to Liskeard in 7th!

Well done...hope the walking wounded heal before Friday then! 13 points....they like a challenge then don't they...lol. Andy and Glendale don't have any more training sessions now, start of midweek games next week. U'14's away from home on Sunday....trip up to Peterhead, hopefully for another win, a few of their midfielders are on hols, so a bit of juggling required with the rest but hopefully they can manage.

Heck...where has the nice weather gone....almost back to wearing thermals today! Off to get ready...hope for good results this weekend.

How did you fair last night Sedge?

Last night was an exercise in sheer cruelty. Penzance have lost 7 first team players as the transfer window closes today, so could only field some fringe and reserve players - their goalkeeper was actually one of their reserve team strikers! We scored after 45 seconds and strolled to a 4-0 half-time lead. The second half seemed to be treated as a training session as we effectively stopped competing and only scored 1 more. Final score 5-0.

I really don't know what's gone on behind the scenes at Penzance, but they've also just lost their player-coach Wayne Quinn (a former England Under-21 and Newcastle United player). Still the 3 points were very welcome - we're only 10 points adrift of Liskeard now!

The weather has gone a bit Arctic down here as well - I think we've been a bit spolied over the last couple of weeks! Good luck for your weekend Inver!

Well done on your 5-0, to your advantage, but never good when a side lose a lot of players all at once. That happened last weekend too. Andy's league field two Kintore teams, Kintore and Kintore United (leaders). They were playing Kintore last weekend and he found out that their coach walked the night before taking a player (his son) with him....club mucking him about apparently.

Andy and Glendale 0-0 draw today (4 bookings too!) Ref bit of numptie and yellow card happy. Freezing cold too, back to the scarf and gloves etc. At least the snow stayed away....lol.

Sounds like an epic encounter!

Our 2nds beat the division leaders yesterday to keep the title race alive - if they win their 2 games in hand, they'll be level on points with a better goal difference - it's nailbiting stuff!

Jings....well done. This nearing the end of the season juggling places is nail biting right enough.

Here is Andy's facebook report on U'14's today....he is well chuffed. Not the most fantastic game as conditions were rubbish...long grass, cold and very windy. Took a while to get into their stride. and not their best performance.

'Peterhead 3-9 Culter Colts to take us within 1 point of promotion. What makes it even better is both our main rivals lost today meaning the title is back in our own hands. If anyone's free next Sunday morning come along and lend your support and help us get the result we need. Come on you Culter!!!'

Kintore United the league leaders lost 0-1 today at home..(snigger) and 3rd place Kintore BC lost 3-2 away.

League table look for 14's C league.

You certainly do cold weather better than we do! We're a bit chilly with some half-hearted rain at the moment, so it still looks OK for the our big local derby on Friday.

As predicted, game was off last night, snow covered pitch, although we had no snow in town had all gone, but the game was being played further out.

Hopefully weather will be good enough for weekend games as Andy has a semi-final on Saturday.

We managed a 2-1 defeat this morning against our local rivals. Our differing seasons really told - we're cruising to a comfortable 8th place finish, whereas St Blazey are desperately fighting against relegation. At the final whistle, they were celebrating like they'd won the league and our players seemed disinterested. Hopefully we'll be more fired up for next Wednesday's match against the team in 7th!

Shame for you defeat today Sedge. Devastating game today for Andy and Glendale. 1-0 up after first 5 minutes. Held on to their lead until 18 mins to go....Woodside equalised and then the scored again to take lead with about 4 mins to go....beaten and out of the cup 2-1. Such a shame as the worked so hard to hold on to that 1 goal lead. Hoping for a good result to report tomorrow for the U'14's, fingers crossed. Hope the weather is ok and doesn't mean a soggy pitch...bit wet tonight.

Bad luck Inver. Still it sounds like Glendale are in good position to have realistic chance of the cup next season.

We're gearing up for our home match against Liskeard Athletic on Wednesday. This is the game that was abandoned at half-time earlier in the seaosn when Liskeard refused to play on with a change of referee. I feel they may not be getting a warm welcome - their manager is almost a pantomime villain!
