  4. Now you have me intrigued/desperate to see it!! I'm at episode 5 of season 2.......my favourite episode so far has to be How funny!! And then he gets it all short and looks even better (if that's possible )

  6. I love this book....Great review Kell! It's a really interesting way to learn our history which I didn't really enjoy at school I've since read the Boleyn Inheritance and found that to be equally fantastic.
  7. Me too! Book Bill is a tad bit dull isn't he. More like her Dad than anything else! I much prefer TV Bill

I suppose for me it's more of a local pride thing than the football :D We were playing Reading and won 3-0!! I'm actually enjoying life in the championship this season as there's a chance of getting to the top of the league! I was terrible at sport too....the last one picked etc. Not good! We must have been given brains instead of athletic ability eh Mac!!

As for the orange sauce I've no idea!! haa!! I normally buy my sauces in a jar from Morrisons

Oooooh Pimms! :alc: Hope you had a great afternoon? There's nothing better than a Sunday afternoon with friends having a few lazy drinks and good conversation is there. My friends have taken to hosting tea parties (yes we're all old enough to know better!!) We take turns at baking cakes and making sandwichs which we have with cups of tea.... they're amazing! Haa!

I'm at Newcastle Uni about to go into 3rd year. I'm a mature student so I really appreciate the opportunity after thinking that I'd never get the chance. I'm studying Town Planning and hopefully I'll end up regenerating town centres and run down neighbourhoods in the next few years. I'd like to improve run down neighbourhoods most of all as I grew up in one myself and small changes would have made such a difference. We shall see :)

I'm going to start to call you Chris Tarrant! "The next question for

I'm grand.....just waiting to get back to uni. 4 months off is too long.

Pleased at the football score yesterday! I'm not the biggest fan but coming from Newcastle means that you have to have some level of interest regardless whether you want to or not!

How's you? Been up to much? :D

  13. I think the first horror book I read was Misery by Stephen King. The scene where still haunts me!

    Hiya.

Hey Michael! Welcome to the forum
  15. I love Chuck Palahniuk's writing and have read quite a few of his novels. Fight Club, Rant, Choke, Diary, Non-fiction and Haunted. I have Lullaby and Survivor on my bookshelves to be read. My favourite by far is Haunted and I recommend it to everyone. I always find that there's at least one point in Chuck's novels where my stomach turns and I feel nauseous. In Haunted it was obviously the short story Guts, in Rant it was the part where (I think it's Halloween) In The Diary the part where ......*heave!!* Dare I go on??!!.......... I also have really bad nightmares while reading his work....my brain is clearly disturbed by the information I'm giving it!! haaa! I agree with Mac that it's difficult to read two books in a row too
  16. Welcome to the forum!!!

  21. I'm really interested in this book after reading The Other Boleyn Girl and The Boleyn Inheritance. I think it's a really good way to learn about history (never really my strong point at school). I'll add it to my wishlist Thanks for the reviews!
  22. I'm looking forward to seeing the Time Travellers Wife with the girls next week
  23. I only ever read one at a time. I'm normally too wrapped up in the story that I find it difficult to think about another one
  24. My BF keeps saying "you know....if you want me to download you some soft porn, all you have to do is ask" Haa!! It just happens that whenever a sex scene pops onto the screen (which to be fair is quite a regular occurence) he puts his head around the door to see how I am! Mortifying!!
