Me too. Our Sky plus only recorded the last 20 minutes and I wasn't too upset to be honest. However, I am curious about Alex suddenly appearing on my screen soaking wet. Thanks for this Charm! What a great article I've just been reading the comments and some people are really not happy that Alan Ball hasn't created to be an exact replica of the books. I personally think that while an exact reproduction of the books would have been good, moving away from the books slightly makes it more interesting. He's changed it enough to keep us wondering what's going to happen but not enough to destroy the world that Charlaine Harris created. Plus we wouldn't have had Lafayette or the Godric storyline. What does everyone else think?

I've seen this book around but never picked it up (the cover art intrigued me ) Thanks for the review. I'm engrossed by the Tudor period so this is firmly on my wishlist

My Mother used to be very careful about what we watched on tv and what movies we might stumble across but I think she probably thought that no harm could come from a book......how wrong was she! I used to scare myself silly with the odd horror novel when I was a kid. I hope you manage to find the time and place to read these books without upsetting anyone
