  1. I'm re-watching Glee Gleeeeeeeee!
  2. Will do Capture I'm looking forward to it all unfolding!
  3. Oooooh I've just watched the first two episodes and thought they were ok Did anyone else watch them?
  4. That's such an amazing scene (and movie ) I think this movie marks the point when I first started to think that Brad Pitt was actually a pretty good actor. He plays Tyler Durden exactly how I'd imagined him to be. He's also .....scary stuff!
  5. My favourite actor has always been Jack Nicholson. I love how he has that 'I'm up to no good' look about him. I enjoyed seeing him most in One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest and About Schmidt. However, I'm becoming a bit of a Michael Sheen fan after seeing him in Frost/Nixon a few weeks ago. He was amazing! As for my favourite actress, it has to be Julie Walters. I loved her most in Educating Rita.....there's just something about her. When she's on the screen I literally can't take my eyes off her.
  6. I'm making oven-baked potatoes again and I think I'll have lemon prawns with it
  7. I've picked up The Vampire Armand again and it's starting to look interesting once more
  8. I don't mind it as long as it's tasteful and not too crude. I've read Charlaine Harris' Southern Vampire Mysteries and there's quite a bit of sex going on between the pages but it's all tastefully done so I don't cringe. On the other-hand, I read The Birthing House by Christopher Ransom and it was pretty coarse, bordering vulgar. I skimmed those pages and it put me off the book as a whole.......ewwwww! Just thinking of it gives me the creeps! Maybe women write sex scenes better than men? Or maybe it was because the sex in Charlaine Harris' series was from the point of view of a woman whereas Christopher Ransom's was from a male point of view, therefore being a woman myself, I could relate more to Harris? Do you think it depends on the sex of the author?
  9. I totally agree. Although I loved the movie, it wasn't completely fantasy. However, the parts which were complete fantasy were amazing so if Del Toro gave in to his fantastical side, his spin on Alice in Wonderland could be great. Ooooh I still shiver when I think of that child eating monster with eyes in its hands........
  10. I fancy it too after talking about it today I've just watched Glee! Now I feel like coming up with a dance routine and singing into my hairbrush
  11. Welcome to the Forum
  12. Thanks Pickle! I'll probably buy the first in the series (there seems to be about 20 books altogether!!) and see how it goes from there
  13. Has anyone heard of Christine Feehan's Dark Series? I've just stumbled across it on Amazon and it sounds pretty good and adds yet another spin on the vampire.
  14. I also love Johnny Depp when he works with Tim Burton so I'm with you there Noll....there can't be too much of a good thing. Helena Bonham Carter is amazing in his movies and I think she's just perfect for the roles she plays so again....never too much of a good thing for me. I haven't heard the new song but I'm not usually a fan of hers. I'll give it a listen though
  15. I'm having oven baked jacket potatoes with tuna and salad (I'm trying to be a little healthy before signing myself back up to weightwatchers on Thursday )
  16. I'm giving it a go too Cookie
  17. Fish Finger Sandwich
  18. I as also going to say The American Office It's both fabulous and comedy. Arrested Development is a show which has me laughing just as much as The Office, Flight of the Conchords (series 1) is great too. Ooooh Glee! As for fabulous, I think The Tudors is up there. I've got two episodes of series 3 left to watch....they've been brilliant. A show that's on at the moment The Bible: A History is also pretty good. As a person who hasn't really made her mind up on the whole debate, it's good to see all sides of the arguments examined. It's also interesting if you're into ancient history. True Blood is probably my favourite show that's running at the moment though.
  19. That's such a good movie! I heard that the last two installments of HP with be in 3D which should be cool
  20. That's me! Ooooh you're making me blush! Thank you! I think the years of applying lotions and potions are finally paying off (*still blushing! *)
  21. Is this by any chance a favourite movie of yours? I've just watched Pitch Black and didn't really think it was up to much to be honest. It's no Shining!
  22. A cup of tea and a ginger biscuit. Not my favourite biscuit in the world but all I have in the house at the moment
  23. Same here Mine is my first name. Luckily it was available and I didn't have to make one up. I've no idea what I would have chosen! My friends call me Nana J (I'm only 29!) so possibly that.
  24. I love Neil Gaiman, my favourite book being Neverwhere. I'm also a fan of Phillip Pullman's His Dark Materials and the Harry Potter books Book 4 (Goblet of Fire) is my favourite of the series
