AbielleRose Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 Broiled cod with homemade tomato soup and salad
Rawr Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 I had sausages, mash potato, carrots, gravy and peas
Peacefield Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 What did I tell you about gravy, Rawr?! My bruscetta is bubbling away in the oven now . I think my mouth is actually watering...
Nollaig Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 I had a lovely New Year's Day dinner! I had roast potatoes, sprouts, carrots, and roast parsnips with gravy. There was lamb too but I didn't really eat any of that.
Peacefield Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 Bruschetta is this really yummy mix of tomatoes, garlic, basic and olive oil on top of crusty bread . I broiled it in the oven with just a bit of fontina cheese on top so it was nice and melty.
Rawr Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 Hmm i don't know which of Noll's or Peace's food sounds better. I think gravy wins it, although that does sound delicious Peace
Rawr Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 No no guys, my food is nicer, i just had a tin of celebrations.
Nollaig Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Today I had: a sweet chilli chicken pizza with peppers and red onion, my roast dinner, kinder milky bars, coke and ice cream with chocolate mousse. Beat that.
Rawr Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Well that isn't fair, that's the equivalent of trying to beat a fifteen mile wide meteorite that has just decimated Earth or something.
Nollaig Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 I don't like those, so that makes no odds to moi.
Peacefield Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Gravy winning over bruschetta?! Blasphemy! It was very tasty, and like I predicted I also had popcorn at the movie. Someone was a little too liberal with the self-serve butter machine though so now I'm not feeling so hot . Luckily theatre popcorn is not on the menu very often.
Kylie Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 My brother and his family are down for a visit so I had a Christmas dinner with them and my folks.
Kell Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 I'm just having finger foods for dinner tonight - vegetable and duck mini spring rolls with plum and hoisin sauce. Just because I fancy it.
Inver Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Something I had cooked and frozen for such a time as we need something and I don't need to think about cooking. Beef stew with tatties and veg, with some bought some pastry too for on the side. Why don't I do this oftener and be organised!
Ben Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Chicken casserole with dumplings. That sounds delicious!
ned Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 I fancy something cheese based tonight, if i can stomach it.
