  1. I've always wanted a tattoo but considering that I took me until the age of 25 to build up the courage to get my ears peirced, I'll not be getting one done anytime soon! I'm watching Soccer Saturday (well my BF is while I'm on my laptop)
  2. Well I've just heard from a friend, who heard from her boyfriend, who heard from reliable source that is the Daily Star (so it must be true!! ) that Alex wants an annulment as he felt pressured into the wedding. He was rushed to Vegas and married off, his family weren't there and the whole thing was orchestrated by Jordan's management. Of course, this comes from the mouth of the Daily Star so I dare say it's completely made up but you never know eh!
  3. I think all the series I'd like to see adapted have been, at least in part and not always done well. Some things should be left well alone! (I'm talking The Vampire Lestat and Queen of the Damned being merged into one movie....should've been two to do the stories justice.) I can think of individual books I'd like to see adapted to the screen. These would be Haunted by Chuck Palaniuk and Porno by Irvine Welsh.
  4. I'm almost finished The Vampire Armand after a few good weeks of struggling with it.
  5. I'm watching True Blood Season 1
  6. I'm thinking of cod in parsely sauce and vegetables
  7. Me too I give it 3 months until she's pregnant and 18 months until they're divorced.
  8. I watched Defiance last night and thought it was pretty good. I'm still in love with Daniel Craig
  9. This is the opening story in his novel Haunted. It's my favourite of all the short stories in the book but when added to the ongoing story running throughout the novel, it's given extra depth as we get to find out a little more about the character Saint Guts Free.
  10. Welcome to the Forum Johnny!
  11. Succumbing to the student stereotype, I'm watching Jeremy Kyle
  12. Welcome to the forum
  13. "For the first time, her courage seemed to waver. Her eyes filled with clear pretty tears. A tiny weariness showed itself in her." The Vampire Armand by Anne Rice
  14. I've given up choosing between the two.....I'll take one of each please
  15. Quite a while ago, I read a book called The Shrine of Jeffrey Dahmer (can't remember who wrote it) which looked at Dahmer's life and crimes. He had quite a tortured life himself and while the author didn't excuse his crimes, he makes you understand the possible reasons why Dahmer did what he did. I'm sure amazon would have it Have you seen the movie Dahmer? That's pretty good too. I've read Helter Skelter and a few books about the Yorkshire Ripper over the years but haven't recently read any true crime. I'd like to read about Fred & Rose West as those murders happened in my lifetime and I don't know a lot about them.
  16. Hey Genevieve!

    I'm Grand! How are you?

That photo was taken at a friend's wedding last year. It was such a great day!

    Hope you're well xx

  17. Oooooh it's that time of year again I'm hoping Wes Anderson wins Best Animated Feature and Musical Score for The Fantastic Mr Fox. It was a great movie with a brilliant soundtrack and he's one of my favourite directors so I'd like to see him win that catagory. With regards to District 9, my BF loved it but I'm still torn. I don't think I'll ever make my mind up really as it's such a bizarre movie.
  18. She will do just about anything for money won't she. Alex seemed like such a nice chap too
  19. When I read Porno by Irvine Welsh I had to hide the cover in public in case people thought it was about porn! It was, but I didn't want people to think I was reading about 'throbbing members' at that particular moment
  20. Me too for about 4 seconds. Crazy eh! Everyone's now saying that she orchestrated the whole thing for commercial gain but it would be nice to think that everyone's wrong and they're just in love. (I'm sceptical like!)
  21. Oooooh I quite fancy reading Tipping the Velvet too. I'm sure the BBC adapted it for tv a few years ago and it caused quite a scandal. If you get round to reading it before me, I'd love to find out how you find it
  22. Really?? I couldn't make my mind up between the two! Stefan....Damon....Stefan....Damon..........nope, still can't decide! I pretty much feel the same Stephanie (great minds and all that )
  23. Tale of the Body Theif - Anne Rice
