Ah I loved Interview With the Vampire. It's such a brilliant book! Probably mu favourite out of all the Vampire Chronicles I've read so far. The Vampire Lestat was hard to get into at first but once it got going it was great, Queen of the Damned is great too! My favourite after Interview would be Tale of the Body Thief. It's totally different from the first three books and more like a crime-solving who-done-it. I'd love to hear what you think of IWTV when you read it

Great review Tunn300 I also enjoyed Dead Until Dark but I think the next 3 books in the series are the best. Maybe that was also because I'd been watching the show, so some of the mystery had been removed. Can't wait to hear what you think of the Dead in Dallas next Happy reading!

You're totally right, TV Elena is much nicer. If they'd kept Elena how she was in the books I can't imagine many people tuning in to watch. I've lost count but I think we get to see episode 4 tomorrow? Last week was the episode with the dinner party where Damon shows up being all dangerous and up to no good.

Charlaine Harris is such a good writer isn't she. I've read that series a few times now and it never gets dull. Unlike Twilight which I skipped through on a second reading and if I ever suggest re-reading these Vampire Diaries please shoot me! I'll deserve it! What is it with evil vampire types? It is too rushed isn't it. I think a chapter or two of drawn out flirting would've done the trick. You can't go from . Do you also find Elena to be a really annoying? She's all self self self! I also think that if the books were extended a little and given a bit more substance, they could be really good. For example, her relationship with Stefan seems to be really rushed and although it's supposed to be this all-consuming love, I'm not too convinced. It's hardly Bella and Edward is it!!
