  1. Thanks guys! Yip the reds are Hamilton's Anita Blake series, the Ward's are the shelf below, total escapism! Kylie for some reason my reading to buying ratio seems to stay about the same, well, while my mojo is here. No doubt my TBR pile will start to creep up if my mojo wanes I have to say though, I feel a charity shop trip coming on, that should mess up my stats! You aspire to my stats, I aspire to your shelves! They are brilliant! Yes! That's what I keep saying to my OH thank you
  2. Charm

thank you! Hope you're having a good week xo

  3. Thanks! My OH offered to help me sort them and I quickly said 'NO ... I can manage ' I actually enjoyed sorting them, much nicer with more space than I'm used to Aw thanks Steph Thanks Chrissy! I knew that would happen, I do it myself! I even spent ages trying to get the shots clear enough, but had to crop the pics to put them here. Thanks anisia! Give it time, once I run out of room they'll probably just be jammed in anywhere! I know! You think I should get more books? I do Thanks Ben! Store the world record books, there's always room for more shelves!
  4. Thanks! Pretty quiet today, saving the celebrations for the weekend lol ;)

  5. Thanks hunny! I had a pretty quiet day today, but you know me, I'll make up for it at the weekend! :) xoxo

  6. thank you! I have books in the post to me as we speak, 2 more Anita books no less! ;)

  7. Finally, at the weekend my OH put up eight bookshelves for me, although once I put all my books on them, it didn't seem like an awful lot Oh well, at least there's room for more! :D
  8. Thanks Kylie! Just takin it easy today then decided to celebrate at the weekend :D

  9. My name was Salmon, like the fish; first name, Susie. The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold
  10. Yay! I knew you'd like it! :D
  11. Aw thank you! xo

  12. You're more than welcome to join the bookring Mac
  13. We both have impeccable taste! I shall try to get Generation Dead posted off to you today, hopefully it will perk up your mojo!
  14. I would vote for In Silence (you really need to read a Spindler), but I guess that's cause I'm biased and I haven't even read The Halo Effect! I finished Generation Dead yesterday which I adored! Can you believe it? Zombies and I loved it! But then I think it helped that I actually felt sorry for some of them. Now I've started The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold and am pretty surprised at how much I'm liking it. I'd heard it could be hard to get into, but I got absorbed into it straight away.
  15. Wow! How cool is that! Not if he was hung as a witch or anything, but you know what I mean I'm so pleased you enjoyed this! I had the same feelings throughout the book you did and ended up really admiring the young Sarah. It was definitley one of those books that hung around in my head for days after I'd read it, a great story.
  16. finally has broadband back up. At one point we were actually told by BT that we didn't even have a Bb contract with them. Promptly asked them who the hell sent us the letter that says different and what the hell were they taking the money out of my account for??? So infuriating

Thanks! I must remember Twitter in future ;)

  17. Glad to hear this! Blindsighted is an excellent place to start and one of my favourite Slaughter books. I'm glad you said this. I have See Jane Die on my shelves which the lovely Lexiepiper sent me, I didn't even realise it was the first of a series so it's nice to know I recently read and loved Copycat and Breakneck too, you can hardly go wrong with an Erica Spindler book
  18. I think the fourth Sookie book is just about everyone's favourite! You'll totally understand when you read it I'm really glad you're enjoying The Heretic's Daughter and I agree, the witch trials were very maddening to read about, but that young girl had such an unbelievable strength of character, it was somehow uplifting. Sorry you were in tears though Nope! I'll be delving straight into the delicious one as soon as it arrives, might just skim through the others first though
  19. Evening! Thanks for popping in, I had a pretty quiet weekend, oh apart from my OH putting up new bookshelves for me, yay! At last! Hence, Saturday was a lovely day lol Sunday just chilled out which was just as nice. Hope you had a lovely weekend too and the week has started good so far for ya! ;)

  20. Sorted myself out and ordered ... wait for it ... the new Dexter novel!! Can't wait to get it I also ordered the Generation Dead series for Kookie (& me of course) as she picked up the bookring copy I was in the middle of on Fri and I haven't seen it since, I think she's nearly finished it! Then I ordered the new Kelley Armstrong installment and two more Laurell K Hamilton books. Oh yeah, I think I will keep him! I think a 21 yr trial is long enough, I'll let him stay.
  21. Hey stranger! I'm good thx, a bit sore these days but ok. How've you been? I haven't seen you on here in ages :(

  22. I've read all the Kathy Reich books too, apart from the last one or two, and like pickle says, the series Bones is very losely based on them. They are a good read and I really enjoyed them although, I did find they get a bit repetitive towards the later ones. Do get the first one and try it peace, it's very good!
  23. I ordered it today! You have some great reads ahead of you peace, especially the Armstrong ones, although I'm looking forward to hearing what you think of Undead & Unwed, a quirky little read! Psst! Mac! You might wanna get those L plates up! L
  24. No reading for me today. Although, considering I didn't get up until lunchtime, and then spent the afternoon shopping for, then watching my OH put up eight bookshelves for me, I don't feel so bad! In fact, it was a lovely day and my new shelves are filled up nicely, I even ordered more books! Good day all round
