    Hi there!

Jump right in man. This is a wonderful site. I hope you enjoy it!
  2. ! Just kidding. I have heard people say this before. I thought it was a wonderful book, but I definitely know what you mean.
  3. Fools Die by Mario Puzo is filled with brilliant quotes about life, love and death. I am just too lazy to look for them right now and its been too long since I have read that book
  4. The Book of Lost Things made me cry I am a man, so I didn't bust out sobbing, , but the last chapter really got me. I read the very last line of the book and then I had to put on sports highlights to man up I haven't cried for years, but that book was beautifully written. Bravo John Connolly.
  5. I am guilty of by-passing female authors This is terrible I know. I have gotten out of the habit. I tend to just look at titles mainly. If the title catches my eye, I then quickly scan the synopsis of the back. I mean if it sounds like a good book, who cares who wrote it!? However, I'd still say that like 97% of my reads are books written by male authors.
  6. Chicken and a baked potato with salsa
  7. Freezies They are not really food, mainly water and sugar, but so good. I haven't had one in years. I saw some kids enjoying them today, I was so jealous
  8. I hope you enjoy this wonderful site!
  9. I see lots of James Patterson on your lists. He is a tremendous author, I always enjoy reading one of his books.
  10. Thank you very much for the kind words. I really appreciate them :)

Calgary is a beautiful city with a good country atmosphere. I am rubbish driving there tho, I always get lost

I know what you mean about the animals too. I am sorry to hear about Ralph the Chicken :D I used to ride horses all the time at this farm. The horse I would always ride was named Sunshine. It was never mine, but I treated her as mine. She got really sick and they had to put her down. I'll never forget that horse :cry2:

  11. Very nice! I like the book ends
  12. I'm just gonna throw it out there. Anything my mom cooks. I miss home cooking
  13. I had a steak and raw veggie salad. Oh God it was good!
  14. Glad to see you enjoyed Catch-22. I am really wanting to read this book. I'll have to pick it up one of these days
  15. That book fair sounds pretty fun. I would love to go to one of those!
  16. LOL, you summed up Southern Alberta pretty well. Sounds like a fun trip. :)

There are lots of cute little places around here. I love it. There is always a friendly coffee shop or candy store around. I like the atmosphere. I was born and raised here in Alberta so I am used to it, but I do know what you mean about escaping the country. Sometimes I have to go to Calgary just for a break :)

  17. I know the problem is fixed, but Firefox rocks! I switched over a couple months ago and it is the best browser around!
  18. Sounds like you really like the books, but what are they about?
  19. Sounds like a great read. I would really like to check these books out. I'll have to keep an eye out for em. Its nice to see a relationship book written from a guy's point of view
  20. I'm totally like a day late on this one, but that literally made my mouth water. Sounds amazing!
