  1. I was just about to say what Loopyloo100 already said. More doggie pics, please :D

  2. Is that your dog? He looks gorgeous!

  3. I have 4 tv shows I am watching religiously just now (although 2 of them are just starting out). These are: Grey's Anatomy - my all time favourite show in the whole wide world - have never missed an episode - love it!! Heroes - I am becoming rapidly addicted to this. At the end of every episode I'm gutted I have to wait another week. It's been a long time since a TV show did that. Brothers & Sisters - Quite enjoying this although hasn't sucked me right in. Don't like to miss it though as I like to see what's happening with the Walker clan every week! Studio 60 - I thought the 1st episode was really good and I couldn't wait to see more. I was slightly let down by the 2nd one however, on reflection, that may be because I wanna see more of it. It ends too soon! Think this show'll take some getting used to to! I've just noticed they're all American shows! Can't say I'm ever addicted to any British shows or feel the same way about them as the ones above. Oh and, RIP Friends!!
  4. It's really interesting reading everyone's favourite films as they're all so different! A lot I haven't even heard of let alone seen! Someone mentioned The Breakfast Club - good film!
  5. Current book: The Perfect Daughter

    hey hey!

I left East Kilbride a few years ago now when I was only a nipper! Although I still have family there and close connections with Hamilton. The last time I went to the shopping centre I got totally lost and seemingly we didn't (my mum and I) didn't even get close to seeing it all as we were laden down with Christmas shopping and had had enough by then!!
  7. Was wondering what everyone's fav films were? Along with reading books, watching films are my favourite past time! I love many films, although my all time favourite would probably have to be A Time to Kill. I also love: The Godfather The Usual Suspects Shawshank Redemption The Notebook The Lake House A Bronx Tale Murder in the First City of Angels In fact, there are so many, I couldn't possibly name them all so I'll stop there! The ones above are a very short selection and I have many more I prefer to those...
  8. I used to read the last few lines/page of a book when I was a lot younger but I found it totally ruined it for me. I'd end up spending the rest of the book trying to work out how it got to those last lines... If I wasn't enjoying a book, i.e. it was a real struggle to see if it would pick up, I'd just give up reading it as, by that point, I didn't care how it ended!

    hey hey!

Hey folks! Thanks for all your friendly welcomes - very much appreciated! I'm guessing there are a few other scottish bookworms on here then? It has been mentioned a few times, I noticed. And to Kell, regarding Superstition, I am just over half way through and I'm enjoying it immensely! I can't remember ever having read supernatural books as such before and it is sure creeping me out! I think that may have something to do with the fact I was reading it in bed, alone, whilst it was pitch black outside and I had a silly wee light on. This morning it wasn't half as scary! There's a lot to be said about creating an atmosphere yourself...

    hey hey!

Hey everyone! Have found a few posts I was going to reply to but thought I'd introduce myself first! So I'm marbles - pleased to meet you all! Bit about me, I'm 25 from sunny Scotland. Today I went to my local (small) library for the first time in years (shame on me) and took out 4 books. I read constantly but I tend to buy books or have them loaned to me from friends/family. I started reading one of the library books earlier: Superstition by David Ambrose. Anyway, I'm away to explore the forums... Look forward to reading all your posts!
