Gosh... Mine's pitiful looking compared to all of these! The only remotely interesting thing about my one is all my little Buddhas I have on display.

I think the cover art is as important as owning the actual book itself - perhaps it's the main reason I buy the book as a opposed to reading everything on my PC or a portable device. Same with CDs.

19, turn 20 next June. Surprisingly I've only been asked for ID once before, but then again I don't go out much as going out costs money and I'm out of a job! Watford town centre doesn't seem particularly attractive on any night of the week anyway, and there's a bowling/cinema/restaurant complex just up the road from mine that I would much rather walk up to for a few drinks on a Saturday night, indeed I must go more often as I recall the staff there seemed to like me!

I picked up a few of Stephen King's books online recently and they've just sat there gathering dust on my bedroom shelves ever since; due in part to me acquiring more books lately - perhaps more than I anticipated at the time - that I can't help but feel a little overwhelmed by the prospect of getting through all of them. That, and the largely unfavourable review he got from a friend of mine who in typical brazen-faced fashion called one of the world's best selling writers of fiction 'just not that good'.

The weekend is upon us, and no doubt the weather will do its worst in an attempt to ruin any plans I might have had. I'm headed down to the south coast tomorrow visiting relatives there and was secretly hoping to fit a bit of reading in and work on my tan at the same time! Book in one hand, a cool drink in the other, the sweltering mid-day sun on my skin - that's the life, ain't it just? It's great to be a part of your club.
