  13. Maureen, try reading "IT" for your next Stephen King book. I think you will enjoy IT. You know I wouldn't steer you wrong.
  14. The Memory of Light is actually 3 books and the first of the three......"The Gathering Storm" has just been released. The review appears to be pretty good. I will probably order it on Amazon. Think I will also order Stephen King's latest epic.
  15. I just started reading Unseen Academicals. I haven't gotten into the book yet but it is starting to pick up.
  16. I am on the list at the library for Under the Dome. I am number 30 and they have bought 6 books so I guess that means I am #5. my worry is that they only allow you to keep a book 14 days and I am sure I can't finish it in that short period. maybe I better buy the book.
  17. http://www.amazon.com/Jamestown-Buried-Truth-William-Kelso/dp/0813927706/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1254269410&sr=1-1 Bill wrote a book (link above) on his work at Jamestown. About 3 or 4 months ago Bill was in the New Dominion book shop (great little shop) in downtown Charlottesville, Virginia to promote the book. John Grisham (who lives in Charlottesville) walks up to Bill and asks Bill to autograph the book for him. Bill was flabbergasted that an author of Grisham's fame would ask him for his autograph.
  18. For some reason I have not read Tolstoy. Guess I will have to get on the ball. What, no one thinks any of Steinbeck's books are classics?
  19. James Lee Burke is by far my favorite author in this category. His series on Dave Robicheaux is excellent reading.
  20. Katrina, there is already a topic that exists on Rutherfurd. btw, I did read his "Princes of Ireland" and "Rebels of Ireland". I thoroughly enjoyed both epic books. His research, IMO, is excellent.
