  1. I've started a couple of chapters, and.. good start! This could be fun! lol In seriousness, I'm yet to decide if this is going to be a predictable gory horror, or if there will be more to it.
  2. At present, this isn't available in GreenMetropolis or Listbooks, but is available in Amazon. Mine will be availeble for sale once I've finished, if anyone wants to hang on.
  3. Argh.. I'm in the middle of Child of Time, Devil In Grey has become our next reading circle book, and both American Gods and Forever Odd are waiting for me at the library!! Too many books, not enough hours! lol
  4. I wish they would give a good reason why not! They explain on the website that they pay the owner
  5. Erm Mau.. I told you before that I would get things from GM and send on to you. But if you don;t need me anymore... (I'm joking, of course!) But.. see if Inanna can find them firts.. would be cheaper.
  6. Oh.. stop it! You're tired and worn out my friend. Big {hugs}. And, I fully intend to change that situation soon - we will meet, and I think we'll have fun!
  7. Jo, I'm really pleased that this year is going well for you, and I hope you feel you have some friends here.
  8. They don't post out of the UK
  9. I've just started 'Child of Time' by Isaac Asimov - seems very interesting so far.
  10. I ended up really enjoying Spirit.. I liked the ending being a little unpredictable too.
  11. Does anyone know any recipies?
  12. Ok, so Spirit seems to be veering away from 'predictable', so that's good. For some reason I'm not enjoying it quite as much as I should.. I think I enjoyed all of Kelley Armstrong's books so much, and then Odd Thomas, that nothing else is quite matching up right now.. iykwim?!
  13. Thank you Jo!
  14. Decided against Trace. (Anyone want to buy it?! lol) Have started Masterton's Spirit, and I can't decide what I think. At the moment it feels like it's all going to be a bit predictable.. I hope there's some good surprises.
  15. It's too late for Jan now. We can concentrate on the Feb one.
  16. That's a shame. I guess the thing to learn from this is not to choosed books from the middle of a series.
  17. I, of course, am on hand for proof reading, or any other type of reading for you! lol Also, I want a signed first edition!
  18. Jo, can you rewrite this slightly so it can be a little 'article' for the main site? (Or, failing that, can I do so for you?)
  19. What a book! You have to 'go with it' instead of trying to dissect and understand it too much. I still say that the author has issues with sex, because the way he wrote those sections was just odd.. almost as if he hated it. Trace turned up this morning, so I guess I should move on to that one now.
  20. I agree Kell. As I said to you elsewhere, my memory of this book is more Laymon than Herbert. It's fine as it is, but not what you expect from Herbert.
  21. Have you started any of these yet?
  22. I know! The times I've gone t bed to read for '5 minutes' because I'm tired. An hour later I can still be telling myself, 'just 5 more minutes', even though I can hardly keep my eyes open!
  23. As I said to you before, we hope to get back one day, so we can have it fresh!
  24. I wasn't sure if you'd class it as a musical.. even though it has music! lol
