  1. LOL Enjoy the Kelley Armstrong books!
  2. Can I ask which one? And have you added yourself to the birthday thread?
  3. And we have a link there? I couldn't see it...?
  4. Ooh, ooh, which one?! lol
  5. Forever Odd was good, but the ending disappointed this time round.. whereas with Odd Thomas, I thought the ending was really good. Finished Child Of Time last night.. an easy book to read, but some interesting concepts, and the 2 tales are well interwoven.
  6. How long are they Kell.. are they easy to read online, or do they need printing out?
  7. You'd be right - at least, I think so - LOL! I fuond it very easy to read, if a little uncomfortable in places (mostly at the beginning till I got used to Masterton's style). Once I og tinto it, I was raring to go! Yep! I agree.. an easy read, but a good one.
  8. Not a problem Kell. The parcels are normally pretty quick, anyway.
  9. Yep, as a 'story', Forever Odd starts well, and keeps flowing. But, I really enjoyed getting to know the character in Odd Thomas, and how his 'gift' affects him.
  10. Unfortunately I gave up on American Gods, as it just didn't grab me. I'm about half way through Forever Odd.. although it's a good read, it's not as good as Odd Thomas.
  11. What are your experiences of this author? Likes or dislikes? Having read Weaveworld in the past, and enjoying it, I've been meaning to look out for more. I now have The Hellbound Heart heading my way, and have requested Imajica on 'read it swap it' What else would you recommend?
  12. I've just requested it through the library.. let's see if I can nab it quick! lol
  13. Looks interesting... http://www.stephenking.com/cell_release/
  14. There was so much going on this morning that I had to scroll back up and see what I was lending you! Don't forget to go to the reading circle and let us know your thoughts on DIG as you go along. Kell and I are waiting so we can join in!
  15. I can lend it to you if you want?
  16. Ok, I think I might take you up on that! Thank you!
  17. So would you recomend that I look for Blindsighted?
  18. I printed Beginnings normally, and it was alot of pages. I don't think my little printer does double sized! There was also gaps between lines during conversations, which was annoying. Anyway, the paper got recycled by the girls, so I no longer have that one.
  19. I've just seen The Island on Amazon, and thought it looked quite good.
  20. Looking through Amazon, there appears to be more Laymon books about than I reaslised. I read a few of them, then got fed up with the recurring gore and sex. As a one-off every now and again, they're quite entertaining, but I'm not sure I'd recommend reading a bunch together! What were your experiences of him?
  21. Where's the best place to start with her books then?
  22. For those of you using read it, swap it regularly, don't forget to download the little fliers that Kell made, and put them in the books. That way we may get some more readers here. http://bookclubforum.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=632
  23. I would certainly recommend Dime Store Magic first. Bitten & Stolen are the first 2, but are mainly about different characters. But Industrial Magic would make more sense after Dime Store Magic.
  24. Hmm.. you didn;t like that one then?
  25. ooh ooh.. I'm looking forward to getting them now! I loved Beginnings!
