  1. Most of mine have finished now, and ITV will be full of the dreaded "I'm a Celebrity" for 3-4 weeks so that's not an option.
  2. Had a nice little delivery yesterday from the Book Depository: The Poisoned Chocolates Case by Anthony Berkeley Murder on St Nicholas Avenue by Victoria Thompson A Death in the Dales by Frances Brody and last night I finished "Conjugal Rites" by Paul Magrs, the 3rd in the Brenda and Effie series, this time set in an alternative, hellish (literally) version of Whitby in which the gang have to rescue Brenda from the clutches of a former suitor, but will they be able to get back? Well there are more books in the series so no real suspense there, but it was an entertaining, fun Halloween read. 7/10
  3. Hope she's Ok and you get to see her tomorrow and she's home soon.
  4. Last night's Missing -
  5. In pursuit of the Proper Sinner - Elizabeth George
  6. Where the streets have no name - U2
  7. Rain all night and all day so far.
  8. Is that the old or new X Files? I quite enjoyed the re-booted version earlier this year, although a couple of episodes were a bit meh. Overall it was good to have it back! I watch Murdoch occasionally, it's easy entertainment.
  9. Keep on lovin' you - REO Speedwagon
  10. Fearless Fourteen by Janet Evanovich
  11. It's got colder here too, but they forecast heavy wind and rain for tomorrow .
  12. Yes she was great wasn't she? Can't wait for Danny's next week. Wasn't surprised at who got voted off, probably one of the weakest dancers this week, and although the other person probably shouldn't have been in the dance off, they do seem to be rather inconsistent. And I thought Gianni's extra twirling in their dance was showing off a bit, the focus should be on the celeb contestant, something which Oti did beautifully when she let Danny have a solo spot in their dance, what an unselfish dancer she is. And Ed has improved quite a bit hasn't he?
  13. I got "Belgravia" by Julian Fellowes yesterday.
  14. Harry Potter - got so bored with him by the end I was almost rooting for Voldemort! Maybe I've just outgrown him....but I think the books got longer and more repetitive by number 5, I still haven't read Deathly Hallows but was so bored by the film versions I'm not sure if I want to read it now (but probably will eventually). Likewise Twilight - started going off the boil in Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn was more like Breaking Yawn for me, what a damp squib that turned out to be for a final showdown.
  15. Cold and sunny, and quite windy. Just planted some more spring bulbs.
  16. No that one's only just come out in paperback.
