It was good to see a little of what has been happening in the past 5 years and reasons for some of the housewives behaviour. Lucybird Posted February 25, 2009 Share Posted February 25, 2009 I think it is the first week back, strangely it seems it continues from the last series in a way the others haven't It finished with the 'band' having a concert, in which Edie's husband set a fire to get rid of the body of his therapist (who he killed). Mike got stuck inside but Edie's husband (what is his name?!) 'saved' him but only so he can make him suffer later. Porter had said he would kill the husband of the woman he was having an affair with who happened to own the club where the fire was, Edie's husband said he saw Porter near where the fire started. As they do every two weeks or so this year I'm on the american schedule and I've lost count of the number of 'breaks' there have been. Edit: I think I might know what Edie's husbands secret is (I can't remember his name either:lol:) and I can't wait to find out whether I'm right or not! Oh, I'd love to know what your guess is! frankie Posted February 25, 2009 Share Posted February 25, 2009 I'm so greatful that this show is already in TV although they haven't even shown it the whole way through in the US but I'm also kinda mad because now we are having a little break from it because the channel that's showing the series probably hasn't even gotten the latest episodes yet. By the way, UK started the showing The Desperate Housewives before Finland, but now we're at least 4 episodes ahead of you, but you'll catch up because we're on the stupid break. They did it with a lot of shows - I think it was all to do with the Writers Strike. Even though the strike finished ages ago, a lot of writers write for more than one show, so there was a backlog of episodes that needed to be caught up (that was what I read somewhere anyway). Which episode did you just see? I remember being really confused by the same thing but realising it was obvious in the next episode's recap... Does Lila Dash ring a bell? From the very beginning of this season? I agree that this is a very confusing development, very badly handled on their part.
