What's the weather like?

Rainy and rainey, so far. Yesterday it was rainy and sunshine interspersed. My father managed to get the bin in without getting soaked but he did get frozen so it was pretty chilly too, as it is today.

Yesterday was much chillier here as well, with rain in the morning, more of the same for the weekend and most of next week,and apparently Easter looks like being a washout!☔🦆

We haven't talked about the weather in a while.....end of June we had the hottest day of the year so far, but given what the weather's been like that probably wasn't too difficult to achieve,and then July came, and it's rained pretty much all week so far.☔

🌧️We've gone from heavy drizzle to torrential rain today, had to put some young plants away to stop them getting swamped, and Wimbledon is a washout, as is July so far!  Happy Summer☂️

We have rain too and my pots still look like they are wilting! Maybe they need fed, but not in this rain.

I know, I've been wanting to feed my tomato plant for two weeks now, but it's just too wet. It is growing though and has some little flowers on it,so it's looking quite well.

Frosty mornings but beautiful days here.

Quite unpleasant  , cold, grey, rain a likelihood all the summer long.

Just heard it might be a bit warmer next week, but wetter - how?!  As in, how can it be wetter, though today wasn't too bad, yesterday I got soaked just putting a couple of young plants back in the mini greenhouse to stop them getting drowned/swamped, was outside for little more than a minute but had to change into dry clothes!

It's very hot here in Scotland, at the start of the Fair Fortnight.

Aye it's a local holiday. There has been some rain but traditionally we have constant heavy rain for the whole fortnight.

More than the heat, I hate muggy. Sometimes it’s just unbearable—there’s no escaping it!

I agree, muggy and humid is awful, it's not too bad but not very nice weather.

I’m the same. We need a good old fashioned thunderplump to clear the air and we’re not going to get one.

Yes it felt like that yesterday but didn't happen.  It's quite sunny now but very windy.

Well the humidity broke around 2.00 this morning, with lightning, and eventually thunder and torrential rain, not a bad day today but it's rumbling around again now so looks like we're in for another storm.

I actually love the rain, but I get it, it can be annoying sometimes.

Especially when it wakes you up in the early hours, when you're not a good sleeper anyway!

So do I, Niko. We've had quite a dry winter. We went away for a few days to a notoriously high rainfall area hoping for a good storm ... it was fine the whole time we were there. Meanwhile at home we had the heaviest rain for months 😏😂

Had another downpour around 8.00 last night, torrential rain.
