  1. I watch it with my 14 year old daughter and I quite like it, though I'm not sure if I would watch it if she wasn't so keen.. They've introduced too many characters and often it is dark so I can't tell who is who!
  2. I really can't think of what to cook this evening.. It needs to be quick as not picking up eldest son till 545 and daughter sometime after that.. Maybe chicken wrapped in bacon with some new potatoes.. No motivation!!!
  3. Someone seems to die in most episodes so maybe at the end of each one they should have .. And then there were...
  4. Stupid as well as mean then! Hope he's insured..
  5. Brilliant news! Presumably he was local then? Hopefully this will save you a lot of money!
  6. The police should be interested as the crime wasn't just the crashing into the car but also the leaving the scene of an accident..
  7. That's awful Brian, did you report it to the police? The other car must have significant damage to and likely to be local.. worth asking around, maybe at garages, facebook if you're on there to see if you can find who did it?
  8. Well.. Israel have been in it for years!
  9. Just had a lovely agility session in the sunshine, I even took my coat off and rolled up my sleeves! Beautiful blue sky and the sun felt really warm, could have been fooled into thinking it was spring already.

We've had lots of fun, Robbie's actual birthday today, so more fun planned including a meal at our favourite Italian restaurant! :)

  11. Haha! Careful.. I may send you them both after...
  12. I don't blame you, there are books to pass on to friends and there are books for the charity shop.. This is definitely one of the latter. I have one more of his in my Book Box so I think I have some more predictability in my not so distant future!
  13. Just started The Fever Tree by Jennifer McVeigh, loving the writing style and language already..
  14. All finished, a quick easy read, not in the least taxing, I would probably give it a 7/10.. Quite predictable but as I said an easy read. I'll leave it up to you Claire!
  15. Thanks Kay.. I'll try for moderation..
  16. We're off out to our favourite Chinese this evening to properly celebrate Maddie's birthday now her Dad is home. I'm afraid my healthy eating will have to be set aside for an hour or two!!
  17. Thanks Gaia.
  18. Fingers crossed now!
  19. Busy week ahead here, it's Maddie's birthday today (14), Steve is arriving back in the UK this evening for 9 days, meal out for Maddie tomorrow evening. Robbie's 10th birthday is next Thursday, another meal out, and this weekend Maddie is having a sleepover with 3 friends and Robbie is having a football party with 20 friends on Sunday! Then next week is Charlie's GCSE mocks, plus Steve's yearly medical and my usual 2 agility classes and everything thing else we usually do like football and athletics and badminton! I may not read much this week! But I will drink wine!
  20. I've not watched The Notebook but I did watch the one with Zac Efron which was ok.. The Lucky One I think it was. If the book is decent Claire I will send it to you if you'd like it..?
  21. The kids love homemade pizza
  22. Kids had pizza, chips and doughnuts as it's Maddie's birthday.. I had a salad with shredded chicken and melted camembert.. Very tasty! Of course lots of avocado too!
  23. Thanks Anisia, I can't take any credit as I nicked the idea from others on BCF, to my knowledge, Brian, Kay, Claire, frankie and Kylie are doing the same thing.. There may be others!
  24. It was my younger sons selection today and he picked out The Guardian by Nicholas Sparks, I've enjoyed one of his and didn't like another so will have to see what I think of this one.. Has anyone else read it?
