  1. Hi and welcome to BCF, MuggleMagic!
  2. Hey there and welcome to the board, nippysweetie_1! Hope you like it here .
  3. I'm not going to tell you, but maybe someone else will . Psstttt distractions are good, Charm!
  4. She'll have to include me too! And yes, it's always a good thing to recognize your youth every once in awhile. Nothing wrong with some vamp lovin'.
  5. Sure! I'll send it to you when I get home from work tonight . The recipe is a combination from my grandmother and a variation that I've made over the years, but I still don't trust myself to know it by heart, lol.
  6. :clapping:Let's hear it for bedrocking! Come on, Stephenie Meyer, get with the program!!
  7. Yeah, number one rule in the store! NO DISCO . Anything that wasn't jazz my dad considered disco.
  8. Roxi! Maybe Charm should set up an appointment with the fan fiction department if she feels it's necessary .
  9. Most of my growing up I lived above my parent's music store, so naturally I worked there from about the age of 15-19. After that I worked there during the summers and on weekends while in college, and was still helping out every once in awhile until '97 when my dad passed away and we closed our doors. We sold and repaired musical instruments and had teachers who gave lessons. I either worked at the cash register or next to my dad in the shop fixing the instruments. Although I'm not sure I would want to deal with the headache of owning my own business, it was my dad's dream and he loved being his own boss .
  10. I decided to make Tabouli tonight! The wheat is soaking now...
  11. Unfortunately all these books are seriously bed-lacking, Rawr . You need to pull yourself together, Charm!! Just remain calm and squint if you have to during the unpleasant bits . You'll be fine .
  12. Ah, but they were tears of joy, Charm!!
  13. Yes, ditto to what Gyre said, welcome to the fold, Charm!! We will always gladly accept new members . The more the merrier! I quite like that 'hello' sticker too, Gyre. Seems to me it would make a good avvie...
  14. Glad you liked the Three Musketeers, Chesilbeach! The Count of Monte Cristo is my most favorite book of all time so I hope you get to read it soon . Sunday night New Moon reading sounds good to me! I approve .
  15. Not quite sure what I'm making later tonight, but I took chicken out of the freezer this morning so it'll most likely be something that will produce leftovers for my lunch at work the next couple of days. Rest assured it will involve plenty of garlic and white wine goodness .
  16. Charm! Tsk, tsk! Even though you knew there were 2 more books written, you still needed the reassurance? Awww
  17. Great revew, Charm!! I wholeheartedly agree about the writing, but somehow it was addicting just the same. I will not say I didn't get pretty teary (okay I was sobbing) I must be a sadist or something . MS is an unfinished novel that Meyer wrote. Same book as Twilight but completely from Edwards POV. Interesting if you need more of a sparkly fix .
  18. Did you post your thoughts on New Moon yet, Charm? I'm interested to see them, obviously . I pretty much liked the books in the order they were written. At least you know that once you do finish BD, be it now or later on down the road, you can re-read the series all over again! Oh! And then there's Midnight Sun .
  19. We usually call that 'pilling,' Frankie, and I know what you mean. I happen to be really weird about my clothes, and if it's slightly stretched out I'll wash it, or if it looks worn or wrinkly at all I'll iron it, LOL. I never understood that about the episode either. Lorelei had absolutely NOTHING to wear but cutoffs and t-shirt? I did like the way she got grief from everyone though about it .
  20. :friends0:Awwwwwwwwww CHARM!!! I'm so glad you've liked these books so far! Addictive is definitely what these books are, and YAYAYAYAY for Team Edward! I zoomed through the first three books but made myself go very slow with BD. You might want to do that too so you're not such an emotional wreck afterwards, LOL.
  21. I believe this would be a good time to break out the Jesus toast, Mac . I'm having the same as Inver later, a nice salad with chicken, peas, pasta and other goodies in it! Yum-o.
  22. Mines: Twilight New Moon Eclipse Am I missing one? Oh yeah, Breaking Dawn And Chesilbeach, I don't know when BD is out in paperback, although I'm sure they plan on releasing it at some point. The hardcover is still selling really well though, so knowing the pub they want to milk it for all it's worth. I wouldn't be surprised if they waited to release it until the film comes out just to maximize sales. I have the first 2 in PB and last 2 in HB, and it annoys me, being all unbalanced and all, LOL.
  23. Wow this place looks amazing! I haven't been to New York in quite a few years so I think I need to go back! I would love to stay a weekend on the 7th 'Arts' floor in one of the paintings rooms . Then another week somewhere cheap so I could take in all the other lovely sites of NYC.
  24. Hiya Shin! Glad you joined us .
