  2. My TBR pile is HUGE. I must start 2016 off on a good bookworm note and make my list of books and goals. Goal 1: DON'T BUY ANY MORE BOOKS UNTIL I'VE READ 5 ON MY ALREADY OWNED PILE OF DOOM. Goal 2: READ AT LEAST 3-4 BOOKS A MONTH (Roughly 1 a week). I'm just hoping I can stick to those goals for now. If they go well, I'll probably add more.
  3. Yeah, I couldn't take the news anymore so I'm watching My Big Fat Greek Wedding.
  4. Very chilly, but later today its supposed to get back up to almost 60! Fargo "falls" are so weird.
  5. Hehe, thanks! Last week a random moose wandered into my town and I'm alway so AMOOSED when that happens.
  6. Last night's Quantico episode. This is my absolute favorite new show! Hope it has a good, long run.
  7. I've seen the whole series a few times through! Heh, I love how, at some point, you realize that you're rooting for a sociopath serial killer. I'm not sure what season, but I fell asleep last night on the episode where he confronted Trinity. I loooooove Angel. He's just too funny.
  8. Welcome, Madeleine! I had to double check if I spelled your name right, I've never seen it spelled that way before! My cousin's daughter is Madylyne. Hope you're liking the Mortal Instruments series. I absolutely loved it!
  9. There's a Dexter marathon on tv right now so I'm watching while I write for NaNo.
  10. It snowed for the first time a couple days ago and has been chilly ever since.Pretty nice evening for Halloween, tonight!
  11. Hey guys! Happy Halloween! I'm on day 3 of insulin injections (4 a day) so no treats for me today. Still getting used to the routine and carb counting and all that fun stuff. Thankfully, the insulin seems to be clearing my brain a bit so I can concentrate. I actually read 2 books last night!!! Planning to spend the evening reading and relaxing with a bowl of pumpkin seeds. There is also a ham, broccoli, cauliflower and cheese casserole calling my name later!
  12. Mmmmmm... that sounds AMAZING! I got 2 jars of pineapple rhubarb jam, 2 jars of plum jam and 2 jars of apple butter at the farmer's market in town. They're going to be Christmas presents, but I may keep a jar of apple butter for myself...
  13. Campbell's chicken noodle soup. Boring, but it sure tastes good when you've had a long day and need something warm to eat!
  14. Cul de sac, but only because the plural is culs de sac, not cul de sacs. (Yes, Frankie and Kylie... I'm watching Gilmore Girls! )
  15. Pretty sure if you took summer sausage out of the Dakotas there'd be rioting! lol You guys don't have it in CA?
  16. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaay Ireland! So happy for you guys!
  17. *peeks in* I saw Eurovision for the first time this week via a link online. So far Russia is my favorite quickly followed by Belgium and Slovockia. Frankie, I thought it was so awesome how Finland sent those guys to represent their country. I was hoping they'd move on.
  18. Finding out I've lost 6 lbs (despite being very bloated and feeling heavy and gross this week). I also feel like I've been able to move around a little more and have a little bit more energy.
  19. Good luck with the referendum tomorrow, Noll! I have everything crossable crossed for Ireland! <3
