  1. Happy Birthday!! Hope you have a lovely day x x

  2. Interesting comments about the film there! I watched the film a few weeks back and started crying half an hour in and didn't stop until well after the end. After watching the film, I bought the book (I usually do it the other way around) so after reading what everyone has written here, I'll probably not actually be able to read it through constant blurry eyes
  3. No I don't like Andrew Lincoln in it either. I feel they should have used someone a bit more timid and meek?
  4. The next part is on tomorrow night at the same time.
  5. I haven't seen that, is that the black and white one? My mum said I should watch it. I was a little disappointed in it, even though Tom Hardy makes a rather yummy Heathcliff, they seem to have missed out massive chunks of the story, and they're not showing it in the correct order. I don't understand why they can't just stick to the actual story when they do these things! Maybe the fact that I've literally just finished reading it for the first time is making me a bit more picky about the visual version.
  6. It seems a bit jumpy at the moment, whether you've read the book or not. That's my opinion anyway.
  7. Sorry that made me giggle! I'm a very harrassed servant try to get my charge back down to Thrushcross Grange away from Wuthering Heights.
  8. Hi! Thanks for your message, I am indeed from Cardiff, just outside the city centre. I'm having a lovely peaceful day thanks. Hope you're enjoying the long weekend x

  9. Normally I'm exactly the same, but for some reason I seem to be drawn to Wuthering Heights, and I have to say, I'm really enjoying the book even though it's nothing like what I was expecting.
  10. I had a saturday job when I was 15 working in an opticians, but my first proper job was a checkout girl in tesco, was a good laugh.
  11. I can't wait! I've even turned down going out tonight to watch it! (I also have no money but still) I'm actually reading it at the moment and trying to get as much read before it starts tonight.
  12. Mmm I love lasagne! I'm having the rest the of the yummy sausage and bean casserole I made yesterday for my lunch today.
  13. Yeah I love cous cous actually, I eat plenty of veggies, just not so much salad, I've never tried kale or arugula (don't even know what that is!) but I do like spinach.
  14. Aah well I've read neither, however I wouldn't be surprised if you get heavily advised to read The Host next
  15. My problem is, that I'm not a big fan of lettuce, if I eat too much, it upsets my stomach, so I'm a bit stuck really which is why I don't eat salad that much even though sometimes they look so yummy
  16. I'm going to have a go and making toulouse sausage, chicken and bean casserole, will be good if it turns out nice, since it's really chilly here today. Ridiculous really since it's only August

  19. "It's against the wall, as it always is," she replied. "It does appear odd - I see a face in it!" "There is no press in the room, and never was, " said I, resuming my seat, and looping up the curtain that I might watch her. Wuthering Heights - Emily Bronte
