  1. Well they sound interesting! No idea though sorry.
  2. Well I had a stupidly large portion of home made fish pie just over an hour ago, so I doubt I'll be having much for the rest of the day now!

    Hi there

    Welcome to the forum
  5. Haha!! BookJumper, you sound as easily led on these things as I am!
  6. See I only have one hobby and that's reading, I've never really been into anything, even as a child, which is a bit strange!
  7. Hmm maybe I should stay away from even looking into it then
  8. Welcome to the forum
  9. I've always wondered about scrapbooking. I know you make things look pretty etc, but I guess I don't really get the point of it, what do you actually use it for? I've seen classes for it in my local colleges too, is it just another type of photo album but with more creativity?
  10. I can't make up my mind whether to make sausage and bean casserole again, or fish pie, I want both, haha!
  11. I'm still reading Shake! I feel like I've been reading it for ages, but I guess that's because I got through Wuthering Heights so quickly, I am really enjoying it though, which is why I'm a bit surprised about how long it's taking me.
  12. Ahh now I fancy chicken curry too, but don't have any curry paste, and not sure I have all of the spices needed to make one, other than that, no idea what i'm having, I can't make up my mind.
  13. Yeah I got 17 chapters in and gave up! It's obviously a "marmite" book!
  14. Hehe me too! I read it out in work, everyone had a little giggle!
  15. Welcome to the forum
  16. It's definately worth it. It took me a while to get through but I did really enjoy it.
  17. Yeah I'm pretty much the same, I always use a bookmark, or something that stops me from ruining the pages, however my spines to crease, which annoys me but I don't know how to stop it. I can't say I've ever seen magnetic bookmarks, sounds stupid, but how do they work?
  18. Um they actually didn't show that part! That was pretty much where it started, in the book, this is the second part, and it's Heathcliff who asks for his son to be sent there, he'd spent the night at Thrushcross Grange which is how Catherine met him.
  19. No it was sponsored by Aviva, I'm sad enough to remember
  20. I'm starting to get into Shake! It's quite funny, and isn't really proper chick lit. I think it's going to be a good buy in the end!
  21. Well it can't be much worse! You should definately be glad you didn't watch it, they added bits to it that weren't in the book, and the ending was not how it should have been, I won't say anymore since there are people who haven't seen/read it!
  22. One word...disappointed! I was so looking forward to that and feel so let down by it.
  23. In Wuthering Heights, the use of peevish/peevishness and countenance drove me absolutely nuts!
  24. Going to make chicken curry, rice and sauteed potatoes.
  25. Aww bless her! Tonight does look a bit better than last nights, but I guess that's because they haven't shown the best parts of the story yet. I really don't understand why they started it where they did either, makes no sense at all!
