  1. Proud to be Welsh! I live in South Wales in Swansea, I love living so close to the coast!
  2. I really enjoyed the episode with the weeping angels and after watching the Doctor Who Confidential I was amazed how much effort they went through just making crumbling stone coming from Amy's eye!
  3. Blades of Glory. How I love that film!
  4. I find it quite scary! I don't think I even know my blood type... I wouldn't be very popular in Japan then.
  5. As I'm Welsh I have to go for Sir Tom Jones and Dame Shirley Bassey!
  6. Really some of them were parter of a larger series? Which ones I would love to get my hands on them! My favourite was The Corsage as I had read the story it was based on 'A Monkey's Paw' in an english lecture and loved the prom twist!
  7. I know how you all feel and if you like when I visit there next month I'll take some pictures and post them on here!
  8. Welcome! Fellow Sci-Fi fan here!
  9. Nearly finshed Night World by LJ Smith then moving on to some of Darren Shan's bloodthirsty Blood Beast!
  10. Prom Nights From Hell In this exciting collection, bestselling authors Meg Cabot (How to Be Popular), Kim Harrison (A Fistful of Charms), Michele Jaffe (Bad Kitty), Stephenie Meyer (Twilight), and Lauren Myracle (ttyl) take bad prom nights to a whole new level—a paranormally bad level. Wardrobe malfunctions and two left feet don't hold a candle to discovering your date is the Grim Reaper—and he isn't here to tell you how hot you look. From angels fighting demons to a creepy take on getting what you wish for, these five stories will entertain better than any DJ in a bad tux. No corsage or limo rental necessary. Just good, scary fun. I only really picked up this book honestly because I knew that Meyer had written one of the stories but I found when I finished the book that Meyer's story wasn't the best. I also found that I was angry with the short stories because I wanted them to go on and develop. Anyone feel the same? Or disagree?
  11. I watched this for a media GCSE exam and loved the first 10 mins and then found it on channel 5 a few weeks back! Is the book better than the adapted film?
  12. I am loving the series! My friends have told me to read the books because they are better but I really don't want to ruin the series! I might do when its completly finshed but not just yet! I still don't know yet whether I prefer Stefan or Damon out of the brothers either! They keep changing all of the time!
  13. I can understand why they use some words but I just hate the word 'pacifier'! I just can't imagine my baby brother asking for one! Its soo much easier to say 'dummy'!
  14. I have rather guiltily thrown away a few teribble books that they stick inside cereal boxes!
  15. A very boring pack of salt and vinegar snack a jacks!
  16. I learnt that a town in Thailand beat a village in Wales for the longest place name! Here it is don't ask me how to pronounce it! Krung-thep-maha-nakorn-boworn-ratana-kosin-mahintar-ayudhya-amaha-dilok-pop-nopa-ratana-rajthani-burirom-udom-rajniwes-mahasat-arn-amorn-pimarn-avatar-satit-sakattiya-visanukam. And translated it only means: Jewelled city of the god Indra.
  17. Is waiting patiently for her book to arrive in Waterstones! They never seem to have what I want in stock!
  18. I have found some typos and even some sentences that just don't make any sense! I've even asked teachers and they agree with me!
  19. Being a teenager it was hard at school to find anyone who read as much as me but that quickly changed when I took English at college and every other person seemed to be an avid book fan!
  20. How about giving these a go by Michael Grant: Gone Hunger Lies- coming soon...
  21. Yes that is me all over! Except that I never have paper handy or with me so I end up quickly looking and spoling it! Oh how I hate myself for doing it!
  22. I have finished them all and loved them so much that I pre-ordered the next two! I don't think that they are at all like a twilight cross Gossip girl book as there is much more magic and mystery!
  23. I am loving them! I liked how my feelings changed about characters with each story I read. Most suprisingly was that I hated Ash to begin with and began to love him as the stories went on.
