  1. Bonjour Genvieve! J'adore en France! Je vais aller en France en Julliet dans le St. Tropez. I can't wait! I've also been to France at least 11 times! :) I've just completed my French GCSE as well nd got an A! :) Have a fun weekend!

  2. First the title has to interest me! Or if its by a favourite author of mine I first read the blurb, then read the first page and lastly check the price! Haha
  3. I've read the Twig Trilogy! My that was a huge book! Hard to hold. Hehe! I loved it, it transported me to another world and the twists in the plot made the book all the more interesting! I would recommend it!
  4. In my opinion Comic doesn't look my cup of tea. But as I love Eion Colfer's writing I would pick Airman but The Creature of the Night sounds interesting!

  6. Ummm I would pick although I like Twilight I wont pick it! Hehe Interview with A Vampire-Anne Rice Rats- James Herbert Inkheart- Corneilia Funke Hurricane Gold- Charlie Higson Angels and Demons- Dan Brown
  7. I'm reading Misery now and loving it. I am rapidly turning into a King fan myself (although not his Number One Fan ) Have you seen the film? Cathy Bates plays an amazing Annie Wilkes! I also went to see it in my theatre last Friday and it was fantastic however it was a bit awkward as my friend and I were the only ones under 18! They wouldnt have thought that 16 year olds read Stephen King!
  8. Oh brilliant I'm always looking for a new and interesting read! Thanks!
  9. I think you might be starting to convert my decision! The Waterstones in Swansea is like what you described like a miniture hotel with lush leather sofas and huge fishtanks in the children's section. I just wish ours had Starbucks coffee! Then I would move in!
  10. I loved this book! I loved the structure of the book also with the different narratives being set in different colours! I thought that it was a very profound book with some intriguing parts and some quite sad parts. I felt soo sorry for Endymion. Do you know of any other Matthew Skelton books?
  11. I must say that I thought the Da Vinci Code was good but I'm half way through Angels and Demons and it is way better! I can't believe why it hasn't had as much notice! The plot is much more intersting and intriguing and I have been on the edge of my seat and I havent even finished!
  12. I have to say my Grampa has converted me into a Stephen King fan! So far I have only read Misery and the Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon and they were both brilliant! I will be definatly be reading more if his workds in the future!
  13. Which do you think is the best bookstore and why? Waterstones? WH-Smith? Borders? Or any others? I tend to go to Borders as they have the best Stephen King selection! But they tend to be a bit pricey. Let the Battle of the Bookstores Commence!
  14. Finally! The Third and final Eragon book is out in the stores! I havent got around to reading it yet but Eldest left me in anxiety! My favourite character is Roran he is sooo cool! I just hope he finds Katrina!
  15. I would love to be stuck with Stephen King! I love sooooo many of his books and I would definatly ask for some writing tips!
  16. I agree! Stop reading and your life will plummet downhill! The more books you read the richer your life gets!
  17. :smile2:Thanks for this suggestion! I've seen them advertised on the TV and fell for them instantly I still havent got round to buying them yet, I will now though!
  18. Not many people seem to remember this series of books due to the fact that the Famous Five doing so well in the shops! The characters in The Five Find Outers are much better, funnier and the books have twisting plots that always have suprising end! The Main characters are; Fatty, Larry, Daisy, Pip, Bets and the wonderous Scottie Dog- Buster. My favourite out of them all has to be the Spiteful Letters and The Burnt Cottage! I would reccomend these to Enid lovers! They are the perfect books to read with children!
  19. I completely agree! My mother would read some of them to me when I was little and I would always try and guess who the culprit is and I would always be suprised!
  20. Hello, I would say that they are aimed at 8+. I'm 16 and love them and my sister is 12 and loves them too! But there can be some gruesome scenes so I would say 8+ definatly.
  21. Of Mice and Men is a book but I think An Inspector Calls is a play but It doesn't really matter I read it in play form but it was still gripping and thrilling! I loved the twist at the end to! I still wonder to this day what could have happened next!
  22. I've read both Kensuke's Kingdom and Private Peaceful and I loved them but thought that the subjects he chooses to right about are just too depressing for me to read I prefer some to read about some good looking vampires or mystery or even some gruesome, thrilling on the edge mysteries! Going into another world is why I read books so why depress and write about the travesties of War? However, they are a good read and well written but I suggest if your looking for a enlightening read stay away!
  23. Well on Monday Im doin my GCSE English Lit exam on the books I've read in skool! I read Of Mice and Men and An Inspector Calls. I think they are both suprisingly good but it would be nice to see some modern books on the exam list instead!
  24. Oh YES! I have dreamed many a dream of me with mangled legs in house far away from everyone with the crazed Annie Wilkes breathing over me with a bloodied axe! *Shudders* More like nightmares not dreams!
