  2. Yay another David Eddings fan. I too was brought into the fantasy genre by David Eddings. Welcome to the forum.
  3. Travelling through the ages as a surf, churl, thrall, servant or worse - The Royal Bottom Wiper! I am of course referring to the worst jobs in history! With the great Tony Robinson as my wonderful time travelling guide.

  7. It is the third Witch book and quite funny! And like Wyrd Sisters a little bit of a mickey take on another Shakespeare Play - Midsummer Nights Dream, and very well done too! I do like the bit at the end though ... I aintent dead yet!
  8. Christopher Lee has finally got what he deserved ... A Knighthood!!! That's cheered me up!

  12. I am extremely sensitive. I cry at happy endings, sad endings, poignant endings... Bleak House, Little Dorrit, and Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens made me cry with real feeling though!
  13. Harry Potter 3 to 7 I read in one sitting. A Mills and Boon book ... and Mary Shelleys: Frankenstein.
  14. Supermarkets (I got several books ... mainly from Tesco's.) Bookshops (Waterstones) Internet (Waterstones, Amazon!) Book clubs That's it.
  15. It was night again. Patrick Rothfuss - The Name of the Wind.
  16. I love some short stories like Edgar Allan Poes: William Wilson. And several of his other stories and, of course, Arthur Conan Doyles Sherlock Holmes are brilliantly written!
