  1. Fried Green Tomatoes At Whistle Stop Cafe is a pretty long title.
  2. I don't mind at all. I had some tests done when I went to my local hospital which my doctor wants to talk to me about. I also have to have a Biopsy done on my face due to a really bad rash!

  3. At the moment that is the diagnosis yes.

  4. I'm so sworn to Star Wars I'm practically married to it - so I would consider seeing the Star Trek as cheating on Star Wars ...
  5. Me too. Sirius was a character I could never get to like. Particularly for the way he treated Snape also for the way he treated Kreacher (I loved Kreacher right from the start!) Seven - I cried like a baby - it's not fair! How could she treat him like that?!? This is for you writers out there ... Do you cry when you write a particular scene?
  6. This will be second day of not reading a certain celebs death has stopped me tonight. Maybe I'm losing my reading mojo .... HELP ME!!!!
  7. The only movie I've watched involving a giant rabbit is Harvey - A film classic to my mind! Hollywood producers/directors DO NOT TOUCH THIS FILM! No More Remakes!!!!
  8. My favourite is the spring dog. I think his loyalty to Woody is completely endearing!
  9. That was pretty blunt reply... I may have to buy this book or if I can discipline myself, get it out of a library.
  10. You could say a mixture of them both. I have my comic romances as I have my serious murderous plotlines.

Lately one woman is married to a murderer and a man that almost raped her son's girlfriend because she's interfering in his life. But she still has feelings for him though a rather dishy lovely lawyer likes her!

  11. I am terrified of Black Labradors. I also dislike German Shephards and Alsations. I am more a spaniel, poodle, terrier girl.

Yep, I write, I got poems in Writer's Corner. I also have a prologue of a fantasy story in there. I also write v. adult saga's one spanning the entire Twentieth Century. It's a very complicated story and love (of the romantic side), is a lot to do with it. Forbidden fruit, passions ... that sort of thing.

  12. Hey I could try and get to see Alice AND Toy Story on the same day ... Perfect day out!
  13. Is that profile piccie you? Welcome to the forum!

  14. A man that has Pride and Prejudice as his top favourite book can't be that bad! I think you'll find there's some sort of fanclub for The Time Travellers Wife, I have picked this book up in shops but never really flicked through it ... is it really THAT good!
  15. I haven't read the book no, but I have seen an old b/w film starring Angela Lansbury (as a young woman - she was quite pretty!) It also had George Sanders (voice of Shere Khan in the Walt Disney film!) I thought he was gorgeous. I am waiting for the Sherlock Holmes movie, Ice Age 3 and I have recently found out that there is going to be a Toy Story 3 and the rumoured fourth Pirates film sounds pretty exciting. Dorian Grey only appeals to me because it has the gorgeous Ben Barnes in it!
  16. Sadly that was my dear late departed best friend, Monty. The only way I can get to see his lovely brown eyes everyday now.

And yeah - I love the Mad Hatter. I wrote a naughty story involving Alice and the Mad Hatter, with Alice as a grown woman.

  17. Roast Duck Curry With Chips and Rice and home-made bread.
  18. Well I'm not sure on the posting policy on here also there is a word limit on this forum and as the chapters range from Nine to thirtyfive I don't think I could put it on here, also highly adult and graphic in content some of it! Still, that's enough to whet the appetite.
  19. Me neither - but I may have to try and organise a cinema trip with my sister to see this as I am the only Tim Burton fan in the house ... lol! But Alan Rickman and Christopher Lee ... Johnny Depp ... Stephen Fry ... anyone I've forgotten?
  20. I am thinking of changing it to purple. Pink is girly but then I am proud of being girly ... I enjoy my femininity.

  21. Awww you haven't got any comments yet ... decided to rectify that ...

  22. I am writing a book where the history of the characters and motivations are all to do with the second world war, involving Nazism and Judaism ... The hero is a Nazi and the heroine is a jewess - they fall in love against their better judgement. The consequences of their love affect their grandchildren and even great grandchildren. So it is a saga/romance with revenge and a slight supernatural/ghostly feel to it. I also love Harry Potter and the Hobbit and the Chronicles of Narnia too. Not sure if I've welcomed you sooo ... welcome! and if I have ... Welcome again!
  23. Is that a good story I am thinking of buying the film. I love that era of the twentieth century - it's encouraging to see people survive such inhumane tortures and to see them get out - some (not all), reunited with their families and smiling. Schindler's List was a book that definitely made me cry. What makes that particularly heartbreaking is that all what was written in that story was actual fact!
