Hi there s.gal83. You're bound to have a smashing time using this forum. Everyone is lovely and friendly (no frightening people are allowed!).
I actually don't have an aerial or receiver for my telly, so haven't had a TV licence for many years - I agree with you. TV's rubbish! I love films, though, and I buy the excellent series that look as though I'll like them on DVD. So. To illustrate further, I own a telly, but don't watch programmes beamed at it. I buy and choose my entertainment. Good, eh???
Anyway. Hoping this finds you very well and enjoying the site.
Mac.

I love the fact that he writes about dogs as well. He wrote a great book called One Door Away From Heaven which focuses on a dog as a main character. It suggests that dogs are closer to God because their souls are more pure and noble than humans' - I'm inclined to agree!
Good luck on Thursday, Paula. X

It's certainly quite moving, isn't it? It made me feel amazement that our world still behaves in this fashion. I sometimes wish there was somewhere else to move away to. Glad my recommendation didn't let you down, my friend.
I hope this finds you very well.

Ahoy there, Kate. Just a quickie to say hello and see how your summer's going. I hope all is well with you. I got the job and I'm starting in September, so I'm looking forward to the new challenge. What's new with you?
Hoping this finds you well and very happy, chum.

Bumhole! I missed your birthday! Poo and wee!
Well, here's a belated many happy returns, friend of mine. I hope you had a magic time and that you're experiencing joy and other good things. Like food. And other stuff.
How're you doing? Probably excellent and great. I hope so.
Pip pip.

Good morning, me old mucker. How goes it, down in Cornwall? I am preparing to leave my place of work (it's alarming how many people this has upset) and begin a new job in an inclusion unit in a 'rough' secondary school. I can't wait.
What's new with you? How're the house shenanigans progressing?

Good morning. I'm tip-top, ta. I'm just on my way out (I'm on the sound desk at a local-ish festival) and I have to be there for around 8. There were some great bands on yesterday - and some dreadful ones! Headlining were a Beatles tribute act, and they were awesome.
Of course, it was all my doing that they sounded so brilliant!
How're things with you? Hope you're alright, Paula.

Kelly, you're a smashing lass. You've got to be, as we share similar tastes! I hope you're alright, chum. I've just read your post on the D&A thread. You've got mates here, Lovely, and - as much as one can be in the 'virtual' world - I, for one, am right behind you. Here are some supportive hugs...:friends0:

Ha, yes. I've just found the thread you're talking about. I'm at the bottom of everyone's list! Anyway, yep, my new job, eh? I'll be working in the Inclusion Unit in a secondary school in Nottinghamshire (about 40 minutes away), alongside 'challenging' teenagers. The job'll involve implementing behaviour management strategies, organising the Duke Of Edinburgh Award, music and drama, that sort of thing. I'm really looking forward to it - I was headhunted!!!
How're things out East? Are you still having a magic time?
Hope you're very well.

Hey Giulia. How're things with you? I loved the short story you sent me. I hope you're okay, mate.
