  1. My favorite songs are: Meet Me On The Equinox Hearing Damage Possibility I Belong To You Rosyln The Meadow
  2. I think that both Edward and Jacob are immature. Jacob annoyed me very much in the book, they made him much better in the film. As for the melodrama, it's all over, it's not just Edward.

  4. My plays arrived yesterday, so I started and finished the one, Spring Awakening by Frank Wedekind, and now I'm going to start Cat on a Hot Tin Roof by Tennessee Williams.
  5. Los Olvidados, it was good OK, but I don't think I would watch it again.
  6. The plays I ordered haven't arrived yet and I don't feel like starting anything else...
  7. I finished this on Sunday and I thought it was amazing. First of all, I really liked (or loved) Holden. He was spontaneous, funny, and caring among others. And, unlike stated in previous comments, there's a difference between being a liar and being superficial, "phony". Holden didn't pretend to be smart or anything, like the people he describes. I also found his relationship with children very touching. He loved children because they featured qualities that most adults lacked (or should I say lack), like kindness and honesty. His dream was to be able to keep them from becoming superficial. There isn't really any specific plot, but the writing keeps you interested. Overall, it is a recommendation for my part.
  8. The Catcher In The Rye had some great quotes, but the one that really touched me was this one: I keep picturing all these little kids playing some game in this big field of rye and all. Thousands of little kids, and nobody's around — nobody big, I mean — except me. And I'm standing on the edge of some crazy cliff. What I have to do, I have to catch everybody if they start to go over the cliff — I mean if they're running and they don't look where they're going I have to come out from somewhere and catch them. That's all I'd do all day. I'd just be the catcher in the rye and all. I know it's crazy, but that's the only thing I'd really like to be.
  9. I really hope he won't do it, because he'll make me lose my good opinion of him, I mean it will be like "LET'S MAKE SOME MORE MONEY!". Like my brother said, if he respects himself, he won't do it. I never EVER watch a film twice on cinema, no matter how much I liked it!
  10. I finished The Catcher In The Rye yesterday and I thought it was brilliant! :)

  11. Nah, I don't think he's going to do it, whatever Summit may hope for. As I watched NM last night, I wanted to lay my thoughts here. To begin with, I enjoyed the film (far) more than the book. And I don't understand why it got so much bashing! The direction was good (maybe I liked Hardwicke better, but Weitz still did a really good job), the two leads delivered once more, Launter was OK, Sheen played really well his part, and the rest of the cast was good, too. The script had some drawbacks, as it kept some of the cheesy dialogue of the book, but there were some good things about it (f.e. they made Jacob more sympathetic). Moving to more "technical parts", the special effects were great, as well as the cinematography. I love the songs used, and I thought that Desplat's music was really good, too. Some random thoughts, not really important: I liked how Weitz made the October-November..etc. scene, I was thinking about it when I was going to see it. But I would have made the diving scene differently. The TV in the Swan's house seemed more expensive than they could probably afford? Bella seemed quite stylish at some parts' I mean, she's supposed to be uninterested in fashion.
  12. I finished The Catcher In The Rye today. No I'm going to start.......who knows!
  13. I'm almost in the middle of The Catcher In The Rye.
  14. I'm a sixteen year old boy who is soon going to be kicked out of his school.
  15. I read some more of The Catcher in The Rye. I really like Holden.
  16. Hello, I hope you enjoy it here!
  17. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH thanks for mentioning she was in Lost, all day long I was trying to remember where have I seen her in! And to think I've seen the first 2 seasons... The trailer looks really good, I'll probably watch it. Back on NM, it's hilarious a friend called in the evening, saying "We're watching NM tonight" and I was like "Yeah sure, if there were only tickets" and she tells me "I called and I've been told there are plenty." And then she calls back after 5 seconds and says "I called again, and they've all been booked! I don't understand, I just called two hours ago!"
  18. I finally really started The Catcher In The Rye. I read three chapters, it looks very promising.
  19. I'm going after all...not for me, for my poor best friend, he has no one else to go with. Stripper-fangirl ...
  20. They're unbelievable! And to think that some will actually buy it. Oh my god, I can't stop laughing!... I wonder what would Rob think if he knew that some girls are having his face on their .
