  1. It has been stated that dating in real life doesn't necessarily bring chemistry on screen. Personally, I think they have very good chemistry, although it was more evident in the first film. Kell, I totally agree about Michael Sheen, but from what I see in film sites, Launter's choices for future roles appear to show that he's more interested in becoming a film star than a serious actor, unlike his co-stars. As for Water For Elephants, I think it may be a quite solid films, because I've seen it in 4 film sites, unlike other rumours, like the one that he's going to be the new Spidey (which I highly doubt). I haven't read the book, but judging from the summary and the comment on this forum, it seems like a really good read.
  2. The Wind That Shakes The Barley, a really wonderful film.
  3. Weep or really cry? Cause I've only really cried in Atonement.
  4. Some really good choices from most people! Actors:Marlon Brando, Sean Penn, James McAvoy, Christian Bale, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Edward Norton, Al Pacino, Robert DeNiro (though these two haven't been in a truly good movie for a long time) and Dustin Hoffman. Actresses:Cate Blanchett, Kate Winslet, Meryl Streep, Marion Cotilliard and Keira Knightley Well, I like quite many actors, these are just some.
  5. Is anybody watching this? I've started watching it recently with my brother and we find it absolutely hilarious!

  12. The whole thing with Midnight Sun is and I'll tell you why. She begins writing and wants to do it in complete secrecy. When you do that, you show your drafts to NO ONE. And even if you them, you give them to one, barely two people, not 7-8! And not only that, but she also change some parts, so that in case it was leaked she would know who did it, which means that she didn't completely trust these people. Makes her look kinda stupid, right? And then, she's hurt and will write no more, as if fans won't buy the book once they've seen the draft and it's so hard to write the same book from another person's point of you. I don't know, it seems really silly to me. I'm going to read BD after I'm finished with Brideshead Revisited.
  13. 21 Grams, a very powerful film.
  14. The One I Love-R.E.M.
  15. You mean Emma?Because you've mentioned the other major ones. I believe that men can too enjoy JA'S books. Many people reject them as romances, but as it has been mentioned above they offer a sharp view of society and human character, and there are themes that are relevant even today. There is also the writing. Personally, I love her style, but others can't stand it!
