  1. Harry Potter 1 and 4, 7 times (!)and all the other HP apart from 7 at least twice. Also seven times The Last Black Cat (I Teleutaia Mavri Gata-Eugenios Tribizas) and several short stories
  2. I just finished it today. Not Austen's best, but I think there's still plenty to enjoy, mostly the sarcastic way in which the writer deals with gothic novels. Catherine, if you except her foolishness in some parts of the book, is quite a sympathetic heroine and I didn't thought she was passive. As of marriage, I don't mind, apart from the fact that each time we pretty much know how the novel is going to end
  3. I don't like the idea:"ok, since the last one was a hit, let's make another. The only one that I don't doubt it will be good is Batman 3. But I believe others won't match the original. Blade Runner 2?! Seriously?!! Not to mention that some stories are meant to end in a certain point, and any further development will probably decrease the whole...
  4. Right now I have Punk:the Whole Story in the middle. I want to read:Emma, Northanger Abbey and Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen, 1984 by George Orwell, Peacefulness (Galini) by Elias Venezis and Gone With The Wind by Margaret Mitchell. I also have a huge album about films, but i have no idea when I'll be able to all these! Any suggestions on which I should start with?
  5. I think it was a great book. I read it about a year ago, maybe more. If you haven;t seen the film adaptation, I totally recommend it. Most of all, I think I liked Robbie. You know, just a word ruined his whole life.I much disliked Lola and Paul Marshall. Fantastic love story...
  6. Contains spoilers: Pretty good development, but bad ending in my opinion. I think Austen should have put Fanny to eventually fall in love with Henry, who wanted her, rather than get her with Edmund in a way that seemed like E had nothing better to do. Vivid characters, who create all sorts of emotions (I hated Mrs.Norris). Fanny is sympathetic, but her passiveness is a great drawback, to the point where sometimes, I was annoyed with her What do you think?
  7. OK, DON'T read this if you haven't read the book yet I have mixed feelings about this book. One the one hand, it contains JA's well known great writing. Moreover, the overall idea of two people in love after so many years was great. Also, the two of them were quite sympathetic characters One the other hand, it has mediocre development, in my opinion. In other books, there were some sudden changes in the plot, so you didn't really what was going to happen in the end, Here, Ann's certainty that Frederick still loves her and his passive attitude don't really create agony, and in the end I felt like the plot was a straight line I don't know, what do you think?
  8. I think it was great, probably ONE JA's best...........erm what else?
  9. I've only read great expectations...quite enjoyable reading I'd say
  10. My favorite book...honestly, I don't think it was so hard to read, but you certainly have to finish it. And then wait for a while to see what sensation it left you with. I just wish EB had lived more, so that she would have published more books...
  11. I think the last Cd I bought was Pride & Prejudice ost by Dario Marianelli
