  1. Kenny, I;m not sure if the Eragon series are suitable for a five-year-old
  2. I've only read Howard's end, but I thought it was pretty good. A Room With A View and A Passage To India are books that I'm planning to read. I found his writing style good in general, though a little boring in some parts
  3. Yes, and I have the same opinion with you
  4. Yeah, I got the same from what I 've read, but I don't think I'll ever really know,'cause I saw only the half of the film...I got terrified!
  5. Basically, I was joking . I said it because I remember one exam in religion where my teacher had made a quite serious mistake and I corrected it before hand it to her! You might think I'm a bit mean, but I almost misunderstood the exercise by that mistake!
  6. Personally, I wouldn't do it, 'cause you know, it's someone else's property and I don't think it would be right. Besides, it's no fun if the author doesn't see it
  7. What's that? Sounds cool!
  8. A toast with low fat cheese. And we have pizza on the fridge! But I'm on a diet...
  9. HOW ON EARTH CAN YOU NOT LIKE THIS BOOK?! Sorry about that, but I thought that this book was absolutely fantastic. It was funny and touching at the same time. I believe that Hornby captured perfectly the way many teenagers act or think these days. Also, I thought that the supporting characters were well developed, besides, the story was told from Sam's point of view, so how much more could we possibly know? Personally, I highly recommend this book

    Hey all

You could try The Inheritance Circle by Christopher Paollini, I think it would be your cup of tea
  11. Hehe, I used to watch Yu-Gi-Oh too!

Pride & Prejudice-JA These aren't put in any particular order...
  13. I'm Sam, a 16-year-old skater boy dealing with his (ex-)girlfriend's pregnancy.
  14. Have you ever checked this website? http://www.rottentomatoes.com/ It may help you;)
  15. I just realized I've read this book! But, you know, since it was translated, I didn't understand it. I read about a year ago and I think it was a very good book, I enjoyed it very much. I liked very much the way that the writer handled and presented the story
  16. Yeah, I was going to say the same thing. I see you got Jane Eyre, good choice in my opinion;). Also, if you like Pride & Prejudice, try Sense & Sensibility, Emma and perhaps Persuasion, they're from the same author. But Wuthering Heights most of all!
  17. Very well, thanks for adding me!:D

  18. Is this a writer or did you post at the wrong thread?
  19. We're actually going to watch it tonight
  20. Same here (apart from NM ), though the clips I saw from Bright Star let me down a bit. Since I liked the first Terminator, I think I'm going to watch this too. Also, Fish Tank and The White Ribbon, both from Cannes, caught my attention. Serlock Holmes, Up and The Princess And The Frog are definitely films to be watched
  21. I remember liking the seventh book a lot. I didn't mind the length of the book, since there was a lot of action.
  22. Crying was before that I agree...
