  1. I'm off to see Inception on Tuesday - I think Christopher Nolan deliberately kept as much of this film secret as possible which I think has added to the hype. I'm really looking forward to it though as it looks like something I'll love
  2. Law & Order
  3. Spinning Days - Seth Lakeman
  4. Fi.

    Sherlock

Is this the adaptation that's set now and Dr Watson has just come back from Afghanistan or somewhere like that???
  5. I've read both Need and Captivate, mainly because I bought them together but I enjoyed Captivate a lot more than Need. The writing was just as visual in the sequel but didn't scream screenplay like the first one so I hope you enjoy it! And aren't the covers gorgeous? They're half the reason I even picked them up!
  6. Kingdom Hospital
  7. Walk The Fleet Road - Editors
  8. Hi TBW, welcome to the forum
  9. The Passage has been put aside for a couple of weeks, hopefully I'll be in the mood to finish it by then. I finished Web Of Lies which was okay paranormal fantasy but nothing amazing, nearly finished Impossible by Nancy Werlin which I'm loving - so much so that I've ordered her next book, Extraordinary, due in September. I've also re-read Fallen by Lauren Kate - one of my favourite books of the year - and Fairy Tale by Cyn Balog, Sleepless by the same author and started Siren by Tricia Rayburn Most annoying discovery of the week though is that I seem to have lost a book :motz:I went to get it off the shelf to read but can't find it anywhere, I've searched shelves, cupboards, boxes & draws, I've even phoned my mum to see if it was at her house but nope, it's disappeared
  10. Fairytale Lullaby - Bombay Bicycle Club
  11. Wow, that's rare! I've been reading de Lint for 20 years now and I still adore his writing, I belong to a writing group where we're all huge fans of CdL and have been for a long time. See above, don't worry I've lost interest in plenty of authors over the years. I think it's more a case of my tastes have evolved rather than the authors themselves changing their writing style/genre etc. The only thing definite thing I have noticed is that most of the authors I've stopped reading are horror writers!
  12. Brooklyn Bound - Black Keys
  13. Mine too! Just looking at my iTunes "25 most played" tracks and 17 are from either the Eclipse or the New Moon soundtracks All You Ever Wanted - Black Keys
  14. Ours - The Bravery
  15. Won't Let Go - Newton Faulkner
  16. Abby, if you're not in the UK when BD 1 comes out I will definitely fly over there - I think it would be great to see at least one Twi-film in the US!!! BD part 1 is November 2011 and BD part 2 is July 2012 - they're doing an HP and dragging it out as long as possible So the world will be Twi-obsessed for at least another 2 years
  17. Boogeyman - why is there never anything decent on at this time of night?
  18. Knights Of Cydonia - Muse
  19. Sweet Disposition - The Temper Trap
  20. Off to viewing no. 3 in 8 minutes
  21. Well, I never got to see Twilight at the cinema at all and I only saw New Moon there once so I guess I'm making up for it Apart from anything, my cinema are only showing it until Thursday night because Inception opens Friday - the joys of living in Hicksville with a tiny cinema
  22. Can't believe we have to wait until November next year for the first part of BD Oh well, at least Eclipse will be out on dvd by Christmas this year so that'll keep us going! Went to see it this afternoon with my mum (who I've now persuaded to read the books!) and I've literally just booked a ticket to go and see it again on Sunday by myself So glad you loved it Nici! Hope to see what you think in the super secret group - funny handshakes optional
  23. Yes, loved it! Please read it, you'll really enjoy it
  24. Off to see Eclipse again a couple of hours with my mum, not sure if I should go with her though as she informed me today over the phone she is now Team Jacob :motz:Not sure if anyone's seen it but she read the review in the Daily Telegraph (pg. 23) this morning which called Edward a "vampiric himbo" and pointed out that Edward & Jacob were much better suited as a couple!!!!!
  25. I sat and watched both films again - I know, the hardship of having to do so - from start to finish, all the extras, music videos etc. and found nothing that wasn't already listed
