  1. Glastonbury on BBC3 - Florence & The Machine
  2. Ok, I still haven't gone to bed No sign of Jackson at all, not even a 5 second glimpse like at the NM premiere - am very sad Kristen Stewart is wearing an absolutely hideous dress - http://twitpic.com/1zoxl0/full - and poor Dakota Fanning appears to be really spotty, not a good look. Bryce Dallas Howard, some fashion advice - redheads never EVER look good in that shade of yellow! Me again! Now 3.27am but I would just like to say Billy Burke can be my dad any day, he's so sweet! Hearing rumors that Jackson has in fact made a 2 second appearance somewhere but no pics yet. Anna Kendrick looks amazing, so much better than KStew - KS, RP and SMeyer seriously need to sack the stylist. 3.34am! Finally! My boy Jackson http://twitpic.com/1zp2l8 3.49am! Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, he's talking! And playing the harmonica! He looks so good!!! I am definitely going to bed now Just as well I didn't as they're interviewing Rob *le sigh*
  3. Well, I've managed to watch black carpet overage up to now (2.43am) but I'm way too tired to stay up any longer And why is Jennifer Love Hewitt there? And apparently Justin Bieber too? Can't take any more, going to bed Oh, did get to see David Slade! OK, not gone to bed yet but just had to say - Rob????? A burgundy suit? WTH were you thinking when you got dressed? Don't think you'll be setting any trends with that one! Think Kevin Bacon in prom scene from Footloose, that's how bad the suit is OMG, apparently the horrific maroon suit is Gucci! Please tell me the colour is not making a comeback!
  4. This, Rebel Angels & The Sweet Far Thing are all superb - hope you enjoy it and looking forward to hearing what you think
  5. Paula, that gift is just wow! What an amazing friend, you're a lucky girl Stephanie, that pic is very cute! I have an awesome RP pic but I can't get it small enough to fit either as an avatar or on my profile so Jackson is doing premiere duty! Hope everyone gets to see Eclipse at some point, hopefully sooner than the dvd comes out. Having said that, I never saw Twilight at the cinema and had to wait for the dvd. For Eclipse I'm definitely getting to see it at least twice, on the 3rd with my friend Dee and again on the 9th with my mum. Yes, I have converted my mum into a Twilight fan - she's rather fond of Mr Facinelli
  6. Yeah, yeah, yeah I see it on July 3 at 1.20pm so I guess it's more like 8 days really. We were going to a midnight showing at 0.01am on the 3rd but Vue had a glitch in the booking software and sold every seat twice :motz:Still, at least it means my friend can get her MIL to babysit rather than owing her partner big time!
  7. Have read lots & lots of books since my last post, will update lists on first page when I get a chance! Currently reading The Passage by Justin Cronin and The White Cat by Holly Black
  8. Good to see all my fellow Twi-nuts have missed me Am loving the fact that I'm back online in time to watch live streaming of the premiere, can't wait - there better be more Jackson than there was at the NM prem - although am very jealous of my friend's partner who is currently in a hotel room approximately 10 minutes away from Nokia Plaza!!! 9 days till I get to see Eclipse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. No internet at home just now so I can't listen but if you go here - http://eclipsesoundtrack.com/preorder/ - they're streaming the soundtrack for a maximum of 24 hours only. Apparently the Florence track is fantastic and people are not liking Metric & not too keen on the Black Keys track. Guess I'll have to wait until I get my cd next Monday to see if I agree, will be disappointed if I don't like the BK song.
  10. Another Eclipse track leaked! Jonathan Low by Vampire Weekend - listen to it at http://twilightersanonymous.com/eclipse-soundtrack-listen-to-jonathan-low-from-vampire-weekend.html
  11. Both Vampire Weekend & Metric are playing on Later With Jools Holland tonight if anyone wants to see them, not sure what they'll be playing but you never know - it could be their Eclipse tracks! It's on BBC2 at 10pm or the extended version is on Friday night (where we get to see 2 songs from each artist) at 11.45pm
  12. We're so lucky the children in this country are at school until around July 22nd so no screaming tweens either at midnight or during the day Monday to Friday!!! Think I'll get Dee to book tix for during the day on Friday as well as the midnight show - might as well take advantage of it
  13. Situation has been resolved, my best friend Dee booked tickets for July 2nd in York and included 2 extra so not only do I get to see Eclipse early I get a weekend away with my friends Take that Odeon
  14. When I pestered our Odeon manager on Tuesday about prebooking he said Odeon weren't doing it and was, in my opinion, rude about it too! I've just looked on the Odeon website and it looks like every branch of Odeon cinema except for 2 are doing prebooking, of course ours is one of the 2 not showing up yet
  15. There's a Vue 22 miles away but I don't drive so it would involve getting 3 buses whilst on crutches, I'm eager to see it but not that eager! It would appear Cineworld are also offering previews in selected cinemas too, not sure if prebooking is open yet though.
  16. If you have a Vue cinema near you they're now taking advance bookings for Eclipse and special preview screenings on July 2nd, 3rd & 4th. Of course I have crappy Odeon who aren't doing previews anywhere near where I live and they still can't decide how long before July 9th they're going to offer prebooking
  17. MTV obviously couldn't be bothered waiting until this evening and apparently showed this in the US an hour ago - it's currently playing on MTV/VH1/Viva in the UK now
  18. I would start with Lost Souls, it's not quite as full-on as Exquisite Corpse and if you like it then try Corpse I wouldn't recommend reading Exquisite Corpse as your first taste of her writing! Aanother idea is to get one of her collections of short stories and you get a varied sampler of her style & subject matter.
  19. No! Poppy Brite has a huge fanbase, and her writing can be amazing - she has written the occasional dud but who doesn't? She writes a lot about gay and lesbian characters but if this doesn't bother you then you should try her at least once
  20. All Poppy Brite's books are incredibly detailed, gory and with a great deal of sexual content. Lost Souls is a prime example of that (graphic descriptions of sexual encounters between men) so if you don't like blood, guts and sexual scenes avoid Ms Brite at all costs. It's fantastic modern gothic horror though if you can get beyond all that
  21. Just back from watching Robin Hood where they showed trailers for both Eclipse and The Last Airbender Talk about Jackson Heaven! I also asked the cinema manager about prebooking tickets for Eclipse. It's not May 21st Apparently that date is for selected cinemas only, ones which will be showing advance screenings the previous weekend and this chap seemed to think it would probably be mostly London cinemas with a couple of other major cities thrown in. He said that prebooking will more than likely be available a couple of weeks before Eclipse is released but definitely not Friday
  22. Love the Muse song but miffed you can only download it free if you pre-order the deluxe version of the soundtrack in the US So if you're in the US order the ST at http://eclipsesoundtrack.com/preorder/ and you can download Neutron for free now or you can be like the rest of the world and wait until June 8th It's up on iTunes UK now, for 79p - price increased to 99p after 12.01am. The video for the track debuts on Thursday on MTV, MTV 2, VH1 and mtv.com in the US at 8pm ET/5pm PT, it says it's also debuting on MTV Europe/UK but I can't find a time. If it's the same time as the US it's after midnight
  23. Woo hoo Peace! Now we just need to see if tickets for the UK really do go on sale on Friday or not and we'll all be happy For all Muse fans Neutron Star Collision is being released tonight after the song is debuted on Zane Lowe's show at 7.30pm, it'll be available to download after it's been played on the radio!!!
  24. These are the extra tracks on the Eclipse soundtrack, the last 2 are only on the UK version - Battles - The Line (Soundtrack Bonus Version) Bombay Bicycle Club - How Can You Swallow so Much Sleep (Soundtrack Bonus Version) Fanfarlo - Atlas (Remix) Cee Lo Green - What Part Of Forever (Remix) Peace, I'll try to keep on top of all the new Eclipse stuff & post it here so don't worry about missing anything Good luck getting tickets!!! Hopefully this time next Friday we'll have been able to pre-book our tickets!!!!! ETA - You can hear the Bombay Bicycle track here - http://www.twifans.com/profiles/blogs/barnes-amp-noble-special
  25. From Team Edward on Facebook - "THE UK BOX OFFICE FOR ECLIPSE OPENS ON 21ST MAY! Some lucky Twilight fans will be able to see ECLIPSE at special advance screenings on Saturday 3rd July and Sunday 4th July, ahead of the films general release on Friday 9th July. What a great way to start the weekend!"
