That's what I thought about the 1st one! I will say though, having read the synopsis for Dark Goddess it looks as though it might be a tad confusing if you haven't read the first one I think I will start Devil's Kiss over the weekend - only after I've finished Linger of course

The Red Queen is the next in the series after The White Queen, I preordered it the other day so it's not out yet.

I want to go back & watch season 1 again now, I'm watching on E4 so I've lost track of what series we're on but Rory has just started at Yale. I'm loving this show even more the second time round

I've read all 8 too! I was a fan of Rachel Caine anyway, having read her Weather Warden books, so tried the first Morganville book when it first came out - 2006, doesn't seem that long! They seem to have more substance to them than certain other YA vampire books and as CB says, the threat of danger and being involved with these vampires is more traditional. You just know they're not going to take Claire (spelt properly, my sister is a Claire!) shopping Eagerly awaiting MV #9 on November 1st

Linger was meant to be out on July 7th here (according to my old Amazon pre-order email) but it got delayed until this week for reasons unknown, I had to make myself be patient and not order it from the US!
