It's not Eclipse Day today yet over-eager types :eek2: Not until 12.01am!!!!! I'm safely ensconced up in Yorkshire and I'm about to watch Twilight & New Moon with Darcy and a couple of other friends followed by some Jackson action in Dread Off to see Eclipse at 1pm and then getting the train home late afternoon, should be back about 9.30pm so will give my thumbs-up/down then! Oh and has everybdy seen/heard about the holy twi-o backlash? How Taylor & Kristen couldn't be bothered to come to the UK although they managed to do other European countries just fine, and how Rob is "filming"? Fans at last night's premiere were apparently disgusted that a British actor couldn't manage to get to a British premiere! Team Edward & RP posters were being ripped up or changed to say Team Emmett or Team Riley, not happy people in Leicester Square last night at all

Before she became the Girl from Nowhere - the One Who Walked In, the First and Last and Only, who lived a thousand years - she was just a little girl in Iowa, named Amy. The Passage - Justin Cronin

Anyone else in the UK pre-order Remember Me??? When I ordered it back in April the release date was July 27, then I got an email saying it would be out July 13 and this morning I got an email saying it's delayed until July 28 I watched all the mini-docs on 30 Days, David Slade is an amazing director! He featured quite a bit but seems to be slightly camera shy and oh my, the man is short!!! It's a shame he appears to not like to do commentaries because he seems to have a wicked sense of humour, hopefully there will be a "Making Of..." on the Eclipse dvd so he at least talks about the process somewhere

30 Days Of Night
-
Seems like David Slade is just averse to doing dvd commentaries, the 30 Days Of Night commentary is Melissa George, Josh Hartnett and producer Rob Tapert. I'm just off to watch the second disc which has 8 mini documentaries about the making of 30 Days to see how much David Slade pops up - or not
-
Oh go on, you know you want to!!! I would love to see all 3 films together in the cinema like that Not sure I could do it once they get to BD part 2 and show the first 4 the night before though
-
Hope you got some sleep Marcia!!! Iknowexactlywhatyoumean - happy, happy, happy! So I guess that means I should leave "In a sparkly daze" under my username then 74 hours till I see Eclipse *sigh* Paula, I'm off to the hospital now but I'm going to watch 30 Days when I get home and will let you know about the commentary
-
I've bought the score but I don't have it yet, Amazon dispatched it today so you'll find out before me It's Howard Shore though, I doubt it can go drastically wrong - I hope not anyway!!! I've got a hospital appointment first thing in the morning but I'll log on quickly to check for the thumbs up
-
Either A Room With A View or Howard's End are good books to start reading Forster, in my opinion anyway. They're certainly the two I've enjoyed the mst with Maurice and Where Angels Fear To Tread coming after them in order of preference Hope you enjoy Forster, whichever one you start with!

I'm trying to remember if there's commentary on 30 Days Of Night or not, will have to watch it again tomorrow to check! He definitely seems to be less involved in promo stuff than Chris Weitz was, this is good though - means he's not allowing Summit to push him around too much Abby, hope you get to see it a.s.a.p.
-
Woo hoo!!! Just a general thumbs up will do, oh and whether we'll have a fit over that tent scene or not Have a fabulous time, oooh, I'm excited and I'm not going til Saturday

Twilight & New Moon double bill

Knights Of Cydonia - Muse
-
And my Eclipse movie companion just arrived - I've been really good and just sneaked a look at the first couple of pages, the pics look amazing! I've now hidden it on top of the wardrobe so I'm not tempted

Well, we can't all appreciate the finer things in life - I suppose even sulky wolf boys need a few fans Eclipse may not even be out in cinemas yet but there's already talk of the dvd & what extras there will (or won't) be. http://www.examiner.com/x-4908-Twilight-Examiner~y2010m6d29-David-Slade-says-he-wont-do-director-commentary-on-The-Twilight-Saga-Eclipse-DVD There'll be no directors commentary from David Slade This is one commentary I thought would be amazing - huge David Slade fan, everyone should watch 30 Days Of Night! Let's just hope that we get our boy (and Jackson) talking about cheeseburgers to make up for it
-
I'm not even going to mention how old I am if you're worried about being 35 Halfway through Eclipse and it's definitely still my favorite book of the 4 Spoke to Darcy earlier and she picked our tickets up this afternoon! Hurrah!!!
-
I think I shall probably wear mine under a cardi unless it's still hot, not brave enough to wear it without anything as it's rather figure hugging And to get us back on-topic, I'm going to switch off the pooter and go & start my Eclipse re-read so I'm all set for Saturday See you later hen PS. Your sister can't complain, she's Team Jacob - how embarrassing (for her ) is that???
-
Definitely not naff, Darcy & I have t-shirts saying "I *heart* vampire boys" that we're trying to build up the courage to wear on Saturday Think I might stick with the bracelets and the charm on my bag
-
I did think about hatching an elaborate plot to "borrow" him but think it might be too obvious And hey, less of the naff please! I have that exact same bracelet
-
TL in a top hat??? Ewwww, not something I want a mental image of Just got an email from my friend in San Diego - she works in LA doing some sort of PR or something, she might get to meet my boy Jackson in a couple of weeks:motz:I'm not jealous, I'm not jealous, I'm not jealous..... Oh who am I kidding!!! :)
-
Sorry about the tea And not mean at all, we just appreciate the finer things in life, don't we Paula?
-
Can you imagine TL doing Bel Ami??? He'd get laughed out of production but that's the sort of thing that RP wants to do and is (hopefully) good at Isn't TL doing Stretch Armstrong or something like that?
-
I read an article about this somewhere, I may have it bookmarked but as I have literally thousands of Twilight articles bookmarked it may take me a while to find! It was along the lines of RP wanting to be an actor but TL just wants to be a star, summed it up perfectly
-
Exactly, which is why I think it's all down to the fact that they're trying to push Taylor Lautner forward as a major actor and therefore Melissa Rosenberg wrote Jacob's part in the film to reflect that
