Mixed results for us today. Andy was coaching the U'17's today in their 2nd game of the season and after going down 1-0, came back and had an great win of 4-1...setting up for a good run hopefully. Glendale however had a cup tie today....took it to 3-3 to in to extra time and then their goalie couldn't get a touch on a screamer in the last minute of extra time to lose 4-3. How has your week been Sedge.

Great win for you this weekend Sedge....go the Austell. Andy wasn't playing this weekend as it was the start of the Culter Colts season at U'17's. They had a great start to it too with a great gutsy win of 3-2. Have to say Andy was well chuffed with their performance and here is to many more over the season. Glendale did slightly better too...1-1 draw...hoorah!

He was great at funny but also loved the serious side of him too....feel like you almost got to see the real side of him almost. There again we didn't really did we....so sad he died and the way he left us all. My boys loved Jumanji...they used to watch it over and over. Also Hook was a favourite. So sad,

They have been taking on a few new players, so will have to wait to see if/how things improve (hopefully).

Starting another Jodi Picoult....'Mercy', too many of her books on my shelf I have unread.

Mid week fixture.....4-4...bit of a better result...Andy missed a pen though...stupid goalie dived the right way...!

Just finished 'The Tea Chest' by Josephine Moon....another giveaway book by Goodreads. Light read.

'The Tea Chest' by Josephine Moon Another free copy via a giveaway on Goodreads. Delightful, easy read, nice characters and simple storyline. 'The Tea Chest' involves the coming together of three women, with one thing in mind, to make 'The Tea Chest' a success. For Kate it meant leaving her family behind in Australia and pursuing and completing the opening of the shop in London. Leila and Elizabeth have a chance meeting with Kate and come on board. It comes with the usual trials and tribulations, trusting a stranger with your money is never easy. Relationships are tense at times and things don't run smoothly. However the writer gathered up the storyline and gave it a satisfactory ending. I possibly found it a bit 'sweet' towards the end, but having said that it was about a 'tea shop' so it had to have a bit of sugar added! I loved the detail to the tea tasting and how flavours come together. Would love to visit the shop. All in all I enjoyed this read and I'm sure I will find a 'tea-loving' friend to pass this book on to. 4/5

Andy and Glendale had a friendly on Saturday.....omg.....beaten 10-0.....2-0 down at half time...!!!

No logic to it is there. Andy has just finished the short summer league season tonight. They were hoping to get a chance at a cup game but they had to cancel due to lack of players....would have been fine for 5-a-side..they had 7. Tonight was decider for the league...they lost 4-1. He has had a lot of hassle trying to organise things for this so is kinda glad it is finished.

Having not read the book I wasn't quite sure what to expect but I did rather enjoy 100 year old man...... It was maybe a wee bit long but funny in places too.

Good start, may it be the taste of lots of the same... No games here...just pre season training for Andy....U'17's wont be starting until August.

Germany for me too I think. I think supporting a team who have played well throughout deserve the support. Hubby watching the 3rd place game at the moment....and no way do Brasil deserve to win they are terrible.
