My favourite was Pilots Wife ...was the first of hers I read and have read a few others the names of which escape me.

I have only read Sister's Keeper and have my 'signed' copy that I treated myself to when she was book signing in Aberdeen in May. Have a few others on my wish list though.

I have read Private Peaceful. Was a great read. I manged to get my teenage son to read it. Brothers experience, trials and tribulaitions during the war. Very moving story. One I think every boy should read.

I have just finished reading this and have to say I skimmed a lot of it. Although knowing parts of Edinburgh did find it quite amusing. Loved the chapter when they end up in the charitiy shop in Morningside...could just imagine where they were. Also I actually worked in the Braid Hills Hotel as a receptionist way back too.

I read this not long after my mum died and it kinda helped me through it a bit.
