  7. My son loves the new Boursin cheese advert. A couple is having a very romantic picnic with said cheese in a wheat field and don't see the combine harvester in their path............. . He has a very sick sense of humour

  9. I was a bit disappointed with this one - not sure why. Penny Smith -Coming Up Next
  10. An all time favourite:- To Autumn by John Keats Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness! Close bosom-friend of the maturing sun; Conspiring with him how to load and bless With fruit the vines that round the thatch-eaves run; To bend with apples the mossed cottage trees, And fill all fruit with ripeness to the core; To swell the gourd, and plump the hazel shells With a sweet kernel; to set budding more, And still more, later flowers for the bees, Until they think warm days will never cease, For Summer has o'erbrimmed their clammy cells. Who hath not seen thee oft amid thy store? Sometimes whoever seeks abroad may find Thee sitting careless on a granary floor, Thy hair soft-lifted by the winnowing wind, Or on a half-reaped furrow sound asleep, Drowsed with the fume of poppies, while thy hook Spares the next swath and all its twin
  11. DH cooked a lovely roast pork & all the trimmings

  13. Maeve Binchy - Whitethorn Woods
  14. I buy from small needlework shops, Hobbycraft, ebay or anywhere I can lay my hands on a kit. I also have numerous books on all kinds of sewing and needlecraft and often just raid my massive stash of threads
  15. How I adore that scene - just to see those drops of water dripping off that handsome face!!!!! I love costume drama and no-one does it better than the BBC
  16. My migraines are triggered by tiredness. I often have the threat of one where I lose half of my vision - which can be very scary when I am driving as this is my only truly functioning eye!! I've had these since about 7 yrs old.

  21. :hbsign::balloons:Happy birthday - Hope you've had a great day
  22. I don't tend to read the intro - I prefer to launch into the main book as I like to form my own opinion and thoughts about the novel. Reading it in depth reminds me of my exam days.............
  23. Quite enjoyed this one although, for me, this took a long time!! Kirsty Scott - Mother's Day
  24. You'll find that when you mount the pictures or use them as part of another item (eg clothing, ) the overall finish is more pristine and professional looking. Pictures tend to be flatter within the frame Keep up the practice - once Xander starts playschool you'll have a few more hours to embark on a bigger project, then there'll be no stopping you That's a great way of keeping the back neat - ideal for tablecloths / runners where the back will be on view - best to get in the habit now
