  2. The Falco series by Lindsey Davis might by worth looking at, Falco is a private detective in ancient Rome and they keep you guessing until the end as to who dun-it and why. The author gives you all of the characters and there motives and you can't help but try and figure out who it was. I really love these books and have read nearly the whole series. Hop that they are close to what you are looking for.

  3. Ok here is a quote:

"Will nodded toward Hadrian. 'Look at the swords he's carrying. A man wearing one-maybe he knows how to use it, maybe not. A man carries two-he probably don't know nothing about swords, but he wants you to think he dose. But a man carrying three swords-that's a lot of weight. No one' gonna haul that much steel around unless he makes a living using them.' Hadrian drew two swords from his sides in a single elegant motion. He flipped one around, letting it spin against he palm once.'Need to get a new grip on this one it's starting to fray again.' He looked at Will. 'Shall we get on with this? I believe you were about to rob us.'"

  4. How come you have Summer Vimes? It's Winter on my island!!!!! Ah, I see, the fantasy continues? Why have Winter in fantasy land eh?Well, we are all hoping for snow on our island, it will be nice and Christmassy that way. :coolsnow:

  5. My review of The Dark Is Rising by Susan Cooper.

I first read this book a few years back and have since then reread it quite a few times since then, I have to admit that I was sceptical about it as it was a YA book but it had changed my mind within the first ten pages. With characters that had depth to them and scenes that were described to you in a beautifully simple way that makes the reading of this book easy and effortless. As well as having an array or mythological significance woven into every page that sparks ones interest in the past. It is a classic coming of age tale set in the cold and magical time of Christmas and new year in a small English town. It is a great book that is always worth a reread.

P.S This is my first review that I have ever written, so please forgive any mistakes or things that it is lacking in... :)

  6. Hee-hee. I like the sound of Bug river, but who is Betty White? :D

I wonder if anyone on here will be able to do the letter C?                       [when it gets to X-Z then things really hot up!]

Betty White is an actress, she's been in quiet a few TV shows.
