Talisman Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 A limited edition boxed set of over 170 songs from the Philadelphia International label, which I am really exicted about. I have a lot of them on vinyl already, but these are CDs, and the set also contains a lot of songs that I don't already have. More than 12 hours of llistening in total for the bargain price of £47 - I can't wait to receive this one ! Quote

Kylie Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 I bought 3 double albums (so 6 CDs) of 'smooth jazz for a cosy evening'. It has a lot of classics (Ella Fitzgerald etc) but also a few more recent songs (Norah Jones). They're excellent albums. Quote
DJMonty Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 I generally don't buy CDs or records one at a time; I usually buy eight or nine. With that in mind, I bought much less than my average this week. I bought: Slowhand by Eric Clapton (Vinyl, £3) Doremi Fasol Latido by Hawkwind (Vinyl, £3) Comeblack by Scorpions (CD, £8) Asia by Asia (Vinyl, £2.50) Live From Beyond Hell Above Heaven by Volbeat (Limited Edition Vinyl, £30) I'll have enough music to satisfy me for a few weeks with that lot, though. Peacefield Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 Ahh, Ella is the Queen, Kylie. Excellent choice! In the last couple months I've picked up: Battleborn - The Killers 2nd Law - Muse The Origin of Love - Mika Midnight Flowers - The Dig Quote

dex Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 (edited) I've ordered some more Rush today. Power Windows ,Hold Your Fire, Test For Echo, Counterparts Edited January 21, 2013 by dex Quote
Karsa Orlong Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 I've ordered some more Rush today. PW ,HYF, TFE, C. Nice Assuming PW is 'Power Windows' (rather than 'Permanent Waves'), that was - for me - their last truly classic album. 'Hold Your Fire' is good, so's 'Counterparts'. I hate 'Test for Echo' with a fiery passion, though . . . Hoping the new Riverside album will be waiting for me when I get home Quote
