Kylie Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 From the trailers I couldn't make up my mind whether or not I wanted to see it, but it's just a lot of good fun, with a fair few laughs to be had. I hope you enjoy it too Chesil.
Charm Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 We watched Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang. I liked the first Nanny McPhee film, but this second one just seemed a bit too far fetched, even for a kids movie
catwoman Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 We watched Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang. I liked the first Nanny McPhee film, but this second one just seemed a bit too far fetched, even for a kids movie Can it get anymore far fetched? My kids loved the first Nanny McPhee, I hated it and fell asleep. Even Colin Firth could not keep me awake. They wanna see the next one, but I am hoping that there will be other movies to watch instead!
lauraloves Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 i've just watched The Incredibles and really liked it
Stephanie2008 Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 I watched High School Musical 3 this afternoon. It's embarrassing how much I like these movies
chesilbeach Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 We've just watched Back To The Future - I haven't seen it in over 20 years, and I'd forgotten just how good it is!
Ben Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 Watched two films at the cinema recently, Eclipse & Toy Story 3D. I have to admit, they were both good, but Toy Story just made my day, week, year. Waited years like many to watch that film, and it was such an emotional return for the toys. I am fully aware I sound like a big child, but I loved it. (: Eclipse wasn't so good, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Some hilarious one-liners made up for the cringe-worthy moments littered throughout.
Lucybird Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 Went to see Eclipse today. In terms of comedy value Twilight is still better.
rach.at.the.disco Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 Nanny McPhee and The Big Bang. I say watched, I mean I watched as much as I could when being distracted by two giddy kids.
Katrina1968 Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 I am watching Jackie Brown with Samuel L. Jackson. My favorite line is "he dont have a doing time kinda disposition". I LOVE IT!!!
pontalba Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 Wyatt Earp, the version with Kevin Costner and Dennis Quaid. Pretty good.
catwoman Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 i've just watched The Incredibles and really liked it I watched it with the kids last night, and forgot how darn good it was. Love the evil villian Mwhahahahaha.
Fi. Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 Inception at the cinema - loved it! On DVD, The Jane Austen Book Club - meh
Peacefield Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 We watched A Single Man last night on DVD. Colin Firth was spectacular, but I was mad at the ending .
Coffin Nail Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 I am watching Jackie Brown with Samuel L. Jackson. My favorite line is "he dont have a doing time kinda disposition". I LOVE IT!!! I love Jackie Brown too. More subtle than Tarantino's other films. My Favourite line; 'When you absolutely, positively have to kill every m***** f***** in the room, accept no substitute.' Just watched Dogma. Apart from Singing in the Rain, I think its my fave feel good movie.
Stephanie2008 Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 I was watching Oliver but I've had to put it off because I get upset over the ending
Katrina1968 Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 (edited) Coffin, that actually tied with my first! Samuel Jackson was at his best in this film. Such a glib tongue! Last night we watched 2012. That movie was CRAZY!!! I have to watch it again, it kept me on the edge of my seat and my pulse racing. Edited July 25, 2010 by Katrina1968
Maureen Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 Can it get anymore far fetched? My kids loved the first Nanny McPhee, I hated it and fell asleep. Even Colin Firth could not keep me awake. They wanna see the next one, but I am hoping that there will be other movies to watch instead! Well Colin Firth does not play in the second one, and it is more far fetched than the first one!
lauraloves Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 charlie and the chocolate factory with the lovely johnny depp
Coffin Nail Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 Just watched Borat. I'd forgotten how hard it was to watch. Hysterically funny, but toe curling. Eeesh.
Nicola Booth Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 Sky Premiere - My Sister's Keeper Cinema - Eclipse Loved them both!
pontalba Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 We went to see Salt last night, Angelina Jolie. Lots of action, not all plausible, and one or two holes in the story, but exciting. Room for sequels. /groan/
