Ben Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 (edited) Chinese takeaway tonight. I had sweet and sour chicken, egg-fried rice and chips. Love a Saturday night food indulgence now and again... Edited November 15, 2014 by Ben Quote
Anna Begins Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 (edited) We went out for Mexican fajitas tonight... at a small restaurant by my house. Just some Spanish rice, refried beans, some strips of steak and chicken with onion and whole garlic, a little shredded cheese in a handmade warm tortilla- yum!! bobblybear Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Had roast pork, roasted potatoes, stuffing, yorkshire puddings, and green beans, with loads of gravy. So yummy. Deciding whether or not we should have that morello cherry pie or not. Quote
Athena Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 This thread makes me hungry every time I read it . Today I made ovenpasta with pasta, smoked sausage from a shop near here that sells the best ones, and various kinds of vegetables (and of course tomato sauce). I really enjoyed it . Quote

Did you also have cheese in the pasta. Tonight we are having pasta in marinara sauce. I will also have meatballs with mine. I haven't selected a wine yet to have with the pasta. Calexa Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Crispy skin salmon with an Asian salad. Though I would have settled for a dinner of chocolate. >.> Quote

itsmeagain Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 (edited) Vegan pasties from Jamaica. Vegan soup, mushroom. Edited December 2, 2014 by itsmeagain Quote
Marie H Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Slice of cold turkey, carrot and parsnip mash, peas and skirlie with gravy. Sort of a mini Xmas lunch really , as we will have something different on Christmas Day. Vegan pasties from Jamaica. Vegan soup, mushroom. Do you always have a vegan diet? Did you choose a vegan diet for ethical reasons....or for dairy-products allergy/intolerance etc. sort of reasons? Quote
dtrpath27 Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Leftovers. I made enchiladas and homemade guacamole the other day and we're still enjoying the bounty. Luckily it was tasty, because we still have another day or so of it. Quote

Brian. Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Brian, that all looks so delicious! Thanks. Because I work 12 hour shifts I cook ahead of time in batches but this is the biggest one I've done so far, 3 and a half days worth of food. Quote
Virginia Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 I'll trade you. I cook for zombies so I can't do the lovely meals like yours (except for when the kids are gone) so my meals have to be very filling and have the potential to be leftover lunch. Today's meal is a very savory baked potato soup with cheddar and swiss cheese, chives and sour cream with garlic bread. Quote

chaliepud Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Do you have a recipe for that Virginia, I'm looking to increase my soup repertoire! Quote
chesilbeach Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 I was hoping for something soft since I've been to the dentist, so OH is making pasta with a dolcelatte and walnut sauce … might just need to avoid the walnuts! Quote
dtrpath27 Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Beautiful homemade chicken noodle soup. It's so damp and chilly out, so I've been cold all day. This is the perfect dinner for a night like this. Quote
