Karsa Orlong Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 The first time I knowingly heard Rush was in 1980 when The Spirit of Radio (not Spirit of the Radio, come on BBC! ) got in the UK charts and it was on Top of the Pops with Legs & Co dancing to it. Just found it on YouTube. Soooo funny
Peacefield Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 Love the AC/DC, Karsa! Right now I'm listening to the baseball game on the radio . Twins vs the Oakland A's and we are up 1-0! Go Twins!
Lord Napsack Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 Plastic Beach was a pretty poor album overall (for me) and was in no way as good as Demon Days. Far too much focus on contributing artists. However, it did have a few good songs on it. On Melancholy Hill, Some Kind of Nature, Rhinestone Eyes and Stylo are really the only ones I like on that album, but I really enjoy all of them.

Karsa Orlong Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 Very sad to hear about how Queensryche have imploded, they did some great stuff back in the day.
poppy Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 Very sad to hear about how Queensryche have imploded, they did some great stuff back in the day. Think this is a great song but it it SO like Pink Floyd, that the first time I heard it, I could have sworn it was them.
