Transformers 2, my 12 year old nephew's choice, I was having an aunty day. I couldn't finish watching it. Boring and pointless to me. We do enjoy some films and most books together though:)

District 9, it was really great, and before that Say Anything which was great too.

I loved 'District 9,' Dimitra! Glad you got to see it. Had you seen 'Say Anything' before? A definite 80's classic, IMO .

Nope, but it was really good. The best parts where the radio-under-the-window and the one when he asks the other guys what do they think, that was so funny.

Those parts are great, Dimitra! I love the lines his friends use like "Dissed in the Malibu!" or "You're bringing me down, man!" I also love Lloyd's interaction he has with his sister and little nephew .

Shadowlands is a lovely film, Ophelia. I always cry when I watch it, and I know that if I cry during a film then it must be good as it's moved me to that extent.

The last DVD I watched was The Guardian starring Kevin Costner (my hero!). I'd seen it before but it still made me cry.

Watched Trainspotting last night. I don't think I've ever seen it all the way through before. It's such a good film, it's made me put the book on the top of my TBR mountain.

Schindler's List. Finally - I had been intending to watch it since I don't even remember when! Definitely worth watching, a fine, fine film.
