Kreader Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 Transformers 2, my 12 year old nephew's choice, I was having an aunty day. I couldn't finish watching it. Boring and pointless to me. We do enjoy some films and most books together though:)
Cookie Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 I love the episode where they go out on the boat that poor fish LOL I watched some more yesterday, I love the one with the tramps shoes!
Stephanie2008 Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 A few episodes from Doctor Who Series 4
Dimitra Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 District 9, it was really great, and before that Say Anything which was great too.
Peacefield Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 District 9, it was really great, and before that Say Anything which was great too. I loved 'District 9,' Dimitra! Glad you got to see it. Had you seen 'Say Anything' before? A definite 80's classic, IMO .
Dimitra Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 Nope, but it was really good. The best parts where the radio-under-the-window and the one when he asks the other guys what do they think, that was so funny.

I love the lines his friends use like "Dissed in the Malibu!" or "You're bringing me down, man!" I also love Lloyd's interaction he has with his sister and little nephew .
Charm Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Dorian Gray Way better than the book Sorry Noll! ...
Cookie Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Watched Planet Terror last night. My OH really likes it but the bubbling skin always makes me feel icky.
Ophelia Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Shadowlands. I've seen this film dozens of times but still weep practically all the way through it.
Kylie Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 I watched 4 more episodes of Gilmore Girls. Only 6 more to go and then I will have finished the entire show.
dzposableheroes Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 I watched St Elmo's Fire earlier today and plan on watching The Last Word tonight.
Cookie Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 I watched The Thing last night. The OH was like "It's really good" stupid OH!
nicx27 Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 Shadowlands is a lovely film, Ophelia. I always cry when I watch it, and I know that if I cry during a film then it must be good as it's moved me to that extent. The last DVD I watched was The Guardian starring Kevin Costner (my hero!). I'd seen it before but it still made me cry.
Stephanie2008 Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 ER series 10/11, not sure which. The episode with Ray Liotta :cry2:
arewenearlythere Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 The Lion King, watched it with my children on last weekend!
Cookie Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Watched Trainspotting last night. I don't think I've ever seen it all the way through before. It's such a good film, it's made me put the book on the top of my TBR mountain.
rach.at.the.disco Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Gavin and Stacey: Christmas Special
Tina Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Schindler's List. Finally - I had been intending to watch it since I don't even remember when! Definitely worth watching, a fine, fine film.
Axelfoley Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 Zombieland - Really enjoyed this, a bit on the short side though.
